Lilly Buckner It is a lot different.. it has drugstore brands along with high end, so it can be the only place you go to, instead of going to Walgreens and then Sephora. Trust me, as an American who has recently moved to Australia I really miss Ulta! And there aren't many Sephoras here anyways, and they're all really expensive :(

L'Oreal products are so expensive here in France! They sell them in Sephora here as well as drugstores and I saw one of their bronzers selling for $30 the other day! It's crazy. I think they're moving their marketing strategy, and would like to be considered high end over the next few years.

Well L'Oreal owns several high-end brands as well. They own Lancome, Armani, YSL, Shu Uemura, and Urban Decay. Since, they own several high-end brands, they wouldn't have a lot of competition because if there was a high-end eyeshadow or bronzer from L'Oreal and one from Urban Decay around similar prices. And you bought the Urban Decay one, the profits would still go to them anyways.

I don't know why but hated them. I bought Peach Club and my friends gave me Grand Cru as a birthday present. They are so patchy and they smell so so weird, it's even worse than that chemical fruity smell that Rimmel lip laque has, it's like a metal iron-ish smell. But everytime I told someone about it they all said that they didn't smell it, I even gave them my liquid lipsticks. I still don't get why I'm litterally the ONLY ONE who smell that scent.

THANK YOU for saying what I've felt about EOS forEVER, but I seemed to be in the minority... EOS is horrible for hydrating your lips; it just doesn't do it, at all. It coats your lips in a waxy residue which feels good at first but once it wears off, there is zero hydration to your lips. None. Whatsoever. Back to square one..

Yuni Joon It was mine, too! But then I recently discovered something just as good, but a lot better for you: Waxelene. It's called the "petroleum jelly alternative." Since petroleum is supposedly not good to ingest, Waxelene is an alternative with all natural and organic ingredients, and I find it moisturizes just as well. It's made out of soybean oil, beeswax, 100% Vitamin E oil, and rosemary oil. In fact, I like Waxelene a lot better because, when you put it on your lips, it has a sheen to it that regular vaseline doesn't have, and it looks kind of like you're wearing a very natural, subtle lip gloss. Looks nicer on the lips, feels lighter and more moisturizing, and has less of that sticky, heavy feel that vaseline sometimes has. I feel like I'm giving a sales pitch, lol. But if you like vaseline, you might really like Waxelene!

I agree! The eos aren't as hydrating as they claim to be. I have used several to test their hydration but got no result. Like you said, they have a waxy residue and no hydration. I myself have dry lips and my go to lip balm product is carmex. This stuff really works and does what it claims to do.

The Fergie line came out with a contour/highlight palettes and I freaking love it. The highlight powder is matte and the contour is a cooler color. They are so soft and very easy to blend. I just love it!! I actually use the highlight shade to set my concealer under my eyes and to highlight other areas especially under my contour to help clean up and add more of a highlight and i swear its amazing. I reach for that more than my anastasia contour palette.

L'oreal tests on animals :/ but so does most other beauty brands lol. I love MAC and recently found out about the "testing on animals" law that makes all brand who sell in china (including MAC) test on animals :/ but I mean I'm no saint I still buy MAC stuff (Ive been thirsting over the new Cinderella collection HARD). Kathleen, since I know you enjoy your Maybelline Fit Me range, try the stick foundations for contouring!! I lovvvvvvvvvvvve contouring with the stick. I'm typically 120 in the liquid foundation and use 310 sun beige for a softer contour (more just adding dimension to my face) and 330 toffee for a deeper contouring. Try ittttttt! xx tay.

I have Becca opal and two PF shimmer strips, one in Waikiki and the other in Miami strip. Far from being a dupe IMO. Not pigmented at all, and it feels like you really have to work your brush in to get any product. When I did apply it, it didn't last as long as Opal does. In the long run, opal is hands down the best highlighter I've ever tried and well worth the money. I'd rather have that one highlighter than 3 PF shimmer strips combined.

I went and got the Wet n Wild Velvet Matte Lip Color in Timeless Chic and love it. The creamy consistency is so much better than I expected for $2! I also got the center stage Desert Festival and can't wait to try it, they did not have the pallets at either drugstore where I live. Thanks for sharing

I know this was a year ago but I just want to let you know because I played around with the maybelline fit me foundation in 120 matte (was an accident, I'm very dry also) but mix it with your L'oreal Magic Lumi primer before applying. Its magic. Legit magic. And I use my beauty blender. No caking on me at all. I have very patchy cheeks and very dry around my eyebrows and I have HUGE pores on my nose. I do use my e.l.f. pore minimizing primer underneath. Let me know if you like it!!

When you mentioned mixing the fit me foundations in your previous video, I decided to try it. I usually have super oily skin in the winter (I know, I know what???) but it works really well for me. And it seems like the coverage is better when they're mixed, too.

Revlon has had liquid lipsticks for years and years! Also, covergirl! I don't know how they're getting overlooked do often. My Mom has used one of the Revlon colorstay ones (raisin something) for a few years now and won't use anything else. FYI...love you!

Kathleen! I really really really recommend pixi's mesmerizing mineral pallets! Theyre amazing! SUPER pigmented and the color choices are beautiful! I have all of them except the silver one! But the copper peach one is my favorite! It has those copper colors you like and wear all the time! Go get it! You should also review them! Theyre amazing! Super recommend!
