I have the Druid and it is a lot of fun. But I don´t know if I would call it the most annoying ship in the game. At tier 10, the Daring and the Z-42 also have that short smoke (both of which I also have BTW). The Daring shoots just as fast as the Druid and it also has HE + torps, same short 3km hydro as well. The Z-42 shoots a little slower, it has HE, really nasty AP as well, fast loading 10km torps and a 6km hydro. I also have the Marceau and the Kleber, I am quite annoying in those DDs as well. The Z-23 also has those short smokes, fast guns and a long range hydro at tier 8 + 6km oh crap torps. So I agree that the Druid is a pain in the ass to fight against, it´s not the most or the only one IMO.

Good point, there are several great gunboats in the game. I built both Druid and Daring for guns, and have 1.7s reload on Druid, but only 2.3s reload on Daring. Any idea what I'm missing?

@@j_taylor Missing...as far as reload goes you mean? I´m guessing you built your guns for reload, so maybe Adrenalin Rush. I built all my gunboats for range, that way I can ¨reach out and touch someone.¨ LOL

@@TheBigGiant_SpaceChiken I don't see how to get my Daring guns to reload as fast as Druid, that's all. Not complaint; they are both fearsome. I no longer run Friesland with range mod. 17km is hilarious, but I needed tarot cards to aim and the reload module is always useful.

@@j_taylor Now that I think of it, instead of range, I do run the reload mod on my Gronigen and on my Marceau. The shells are just too floaty to reliably hit even a BB at long ranges. Tell you what though, few things are more frustrating than dealing with a well driven DD, gunboat or torpboat.

oh yeah it's a decent boat. i love mine, getting it was a great decision. melts big boats, it's amusing to catch say a schlieffen to farm

it's more of a long to medium range he spammer, the radar is just to spot dds and then shoot and run, pop smoke and farm, it really is hard to hunt dds down but great at farming, kinda like the mogador and kleber style, burn the world down haha

yeah make sure you max out the dispersion upgrade in mod 3 and also if you increase range the dispersion gets worse, so you have to balance your playstyle, short range is better dispersion, 12.1 km range though

Really annoying ship, heavily armored in the front, even if I were to Ragnar, I would respect the Druid, if I’m elbing and he’s bow in, I’m unloading all the AP on it. Druid isn’t fun when your opposing flank is a paired team. Although you have increased pen angles, you will have a bad time

GG, I got 3 nips down this review with 3 “he’d rather shoot at me”s!! Always laugh at how surprised you are when people do the strategically correct thing, focusing on taking DDs out. And please honour the ship I served on by saying her name correctly. BRIZbin instead of BrizBAANE. Will make this Aussie very happy when you get the Steel Cat!!
