Druids are allowed to do religious ceremonies at Stonehenge and invite the general public to join them now. A large contingent of druids campaigned for that freedom of religion after conservatives persecuted it in the Thatcher era. Chanting in Celtic languages isn't illegal in 21st centaury Britain and dressing up like Tolkien characters isn't evidence of insanity per se. JSO, however, did get locked up.

No, it's not about how resources are used, if we used resources better, there would simply be more people. Druids value justice that makes peace, not revenge or punishment. I think we can expect more good druids to want to send a message of constructive criticism to JSO. For the record, I'm an Ovate and I'm not bothered, I think JSO are justified because fossil fuel lobbies and their media friends etc. have too much brainwashing influence but I have a lot of respect for Druids who advocate better tactics. People who agree with Druids about climate and ecology and also about JSO might want to learn from Extinction Rebellion as an example of an effective protest movement with better principles and demands, they have well researched tactics and can explain why non-violence is best, and how citizens' assemblies could bring solutions that don't alienate or forget half a barrel of oil is raw material for all kinds of stuff that isn't fuel, for instance.
