I don't know if I could ever trust myself enough to do this. Ahhhh! I do really love it trimmed though. It really makes the images pop so much more and takes away so much distraction. Thank you for another wonderful video.

Thank you so much for showing how you do this. I'm still fairly new to cards, and I have thought about trimming however very apprehensive to do so because of messing it up, especially the corners. Your trimmed version looks so much better!!

You are very welcome, I hope that it helps, I always say grab a deck of playing cards and practice on those!

I didn’t plan to trim my deck but started with edging mine and did not like the way the ink bled to the front and showed on the white. I cut mine back to the green border and left that showing and then edged them in dark green. The edging process went well with no bleeding to the front. I like the new feel and smaller size. They are much easier to handle. I do like the look of your cards, cutting even more of the border off. I wasn’t brave enough to go quite this far, but imagine they’d be even easier to handle. Mine are still large for my small hands. Thanks for showing how you edged yours. Much appreciated. 😊 P.S. I bought the same corner cutter as yours after seeing you use it. It’s easy to use and cuts a clean corner. Very happy with it.

Came here to check out your trimming process, and I got a master class lesson on the major arcana. Loved hearing your musings; so powerful! Thank you.

So thrilled to have come across this. I have just finished reading Phillip Carr-Gomm's book (the book of English Magic), when looking to see what other books he had written I found the tarot cards. I thought they looked so good but you have really made them stunning by trimming them. Thank you for sharing.

Kelly which corner puncher brand are you using? I keep looking at Amazon and feeling overwhelmed by the different brands and the mixed reviews. If you can tell us the corner punch/ rounder, (size) you use and/or recommend, and a link that would be great!! Thank you!
@@TheTruthinStory Thank You. I had the same question. Love your reviews.

I trimmed off everything, even the writing, the pics speak for themselves if you know your rider-waite. I love this deck.

I agree, this is a good one to be able to take everything off, I just like for my clients to be able to see the titles of cards in their reading pictures so I don’t tend to do that with decks that I use for them!

More than any other deck, I have felt the desire to trim and even otherwise alter the Druid Craft Tarot. As much as I am not a collector, I don't see myself as ever trimming a deck which I only have one copy, except a hand made deck. As much as I don't see the nudity to be necessary to convey any meaning, I do understand how The Druid Craft Tarot does seem to limit it to obvious places in the Neo-Pagan worldview. It was essential to remind people to consider what other people's decks looked like and that the perfection and ease of a factory made deck is almost always going to be gone. The Wheel here certainly conveys the control involved in one's position and response more than Fortune in almost any other deck.

What a lovely trimming job! Does the new edition have any card images changes?
@TheTruthinStory5 жыл бұрын
No, it’s just a reprinting vs. a new edition I would say!

Can you start with trimming the top and bottom first? Instead of the sides? I'm sorry if it a silly question

Hey Kelly! I am assuming you got the March 2019 reprinting? If so, do you notice any coloration differences between the reprint and the old? I’ve found a few reviews online that say the 2019 reprint is more muted and more greenish. Is that true? Thank you. 💗

I don't use anything fancy, just a decent pair of scissors, but I have been told what is important is that you just use those scissors for cutting paper!
