@@Slytheywith gear swaps and the ability to get away and change into whatever suits your situation is insane, you can open in feral gear, get a bear stun and rocket boots away and swap to resistance gear or defense/mit set.. or balance set and kite. You can beat anyone with full consumes. Rogues have to expect you have everything and kill you before you can react, just for perspective, Druids out kite hunters. Druids can use a manual crowd pummeler with Demonslaying to kill warlock pets in a couple hits. They destroy shamans. Literally the only class that HARD counters a druid is a full BiS rogue.

@@foottothefloormotorsports8384 if the druid is "out kiting" a hunter over 41 yards (druid has 36 yd max range mind you) then the hunter can be eating/drinking food- that doesn't even mean anything. what the druid CAN do best is run away while melting their own mana pool. the amount of resist gear you need to be relevant on an INT class significantly gimps your mana pool and damage output. you can sit here and theorycraft how you think a fights going to go by quoting one side's trinkets and toys while ignoring the existence of the other player with the same shit (because that makes sense), but the reality is that druids can be spiked down by many classes. every other class in the game makes far better use of gaps (damage) provided by stuns toys and trinkets than a druid- its way better for them to use than it is for you. the lack of magic cleanse makes druids exceptionally weak to warlocks and shadow priests. A bis warrior with toys and a timely reck will put down most druids- a bis druid isn't nearly as influential by contrast. A good rogue won't give your druid any gaps as soon as you're out of bearform and perma cc'd to death. A good mage will spike the druid into the ground or the druid will just reset over and over until it eventually loses- shapeshifting out of slow is far too taxing on druid mana to maintain extended combat with mages. An ele shaman will spike down any druid not in resistance gear (99.9% of druids), however everyone knows shaman are otherwise among the weakest classes in 1v1 pvp, so making a claim that you can beat them isn't saying anything, really.

​@@foottothefloormotorsports8384 the matchups are more complex than that. And depends on the spec of the druid. Feral has really great matchups with warriors, rogues, mages and warlocks. However spriests and shockadins dunk on you for most part. Shamans are a mixed bag. A balance PvP build is better suited to deal with priests and shamans since it can out range alot of their nonsense but has much harder time vs locks and mages. Alot of balance PvP builds go moonglow but I've a better one. 20/0/31

Mained a druid from private server to classic. First one was the worst, second one I climbed up to general in the end. Enjoyed every little bit of it, though I decided to quit wow and all blizzard products althogether. Thanks for the vids, gives so much nostalgia and memories

Thank you im glad you enjoyed it but Ahh man that's sad to hear but I understand. The way classic TBC started and when the lawsuits and stuff all came out, I quit too. Mainly because my mam quit and not having her in this game with me was just the end, the last straw. But as much as I do not like Blizzard/Activision. If I can be in this world of warcraft with my mam than that is enough. I do not like or agree with the gods of this world but I quite like this world and the people in it. So I will stay for a while :)

I played Feral Druid (Droodbarymor) for a long time, doing a lot of arena matches and BGs with a Hunter friend. Taking on that hybrid Feral / Heals was so satisfying.... 15 years later, having a look back at Classic WoW, I can't yet get my head around how many key binds I was juggling back then... good times.

Nice good stuff! Sounds like good time! Ever thought about getting back into classic? The vanilla feral is my favourite i think. But if you're more into TBC feral then it will feel amazing as they contacted old devs about that energy nerf, confirmed it wasn't intentional and fixed it. So this time around, Classic TBC feral will feel so much better! Prepatch will be fun! :D

Fun fact - in Retail Vanilla i rolled Warrior but i chose to play a Druid jn TurtleWoW. The Druid is way more fun outright and does tanking better.

nature swiftness would have saved starboy at 2:48, not that i'm a fan but i could have; and jackofspades takes orders from no one and being guildless helps support that while leatherworking helped fulfill the gear requirement and questing got me the skull of impending doom which i see you have too, although now i question whether or not i should have fulfilled that quest for that item that gives me a second sprint. I think the druids were made really well by blizzard so thanks for the early review in your video as well. I played druid in diablo so to see them pull that into the druid class i can now see so clearly as i play druid and blizzard enabled druids to play as not needing any masters since so much of our gear could be acquired without needing to raid to fulfill the desired playstyle. Most of my gear was self made or received in my first playthrough of each dungeon or the warden staff & shadowcraft bracers & gloves for +200 armor * bear form bonus and the wildheart vest fortunately dropped and i bought the wildheart belt, two rings with +armor from questing, +armor trinket from questing and insignia of the horde. the only grind i did do was for the warbear woolies which i almost had from timbermaw questing and i wanted to grind for the shoulders in sunken temple that provide extra armor but i see you maybe grinded for them through honor. Glad to see you are using wolfshead helm, I got banned from the Discord of Grobbulus for debating about whether that helmet was considered best in slot for my playstyle and for calling the guy who said he was a king a wanna be king. I hang out on the Deviate Delight discord and try to go to their RP events when I have time. I did actually reroll warrior on both alliance and horde to determine whether or not I should warsong flag run but by not grinding, only rested and only doing the quests I thought were ethical to do and trying to form group difficulty I only got the undead night elf warriors to 28 and 33 respectively and I definitely prefer the horde but I do not think I should go around killing alliance or stealing their flag since that leads to more killing so the Player versus Player content I engage in with the warriors is based on what i have learned the other side is doing for quests and has provided more fulfillment in the Player versus Player content but I obviously receive far less honor than someone who fights in the battlegrounds but there's more server lore and interaction in world player versus player content but obviously world player versus player content requires a certain level of population to be fulfilling and so I also understand people's desire to pursue battlegrounding.

A well played feral druid but you're not fighting good and or very geared players for the most part either. A feral druid is very low on the food chain, all things equal. PS, I love playing druid.

Indeed pure feral druid is weak in pvp in general, u are a nightmare for mages thats true, also hunters are easy on that build. In my opinion balance/resto pvp build is much better in most matchups, is not as good for mages, but is really better against everything ese, i recommend to u try it out. I always played feral and love it, but damn u are a truly menace on hybrid build

You can quite literally play (almost) any class as any spec or role in classic its just those 10% to at most 20% that top classes are better cause they have consistent design OR its jjust because a darn taunt that you cant do 50% of bosses poor pally/shaman tanks
