Nice build with 2006 vibes. The only thing I would add is that its beneficial to pick up some weapon swaps for extra healing and magic damage. Swap on gcd in bear form, grasp, pop out of form and heal. And having decent onehander to pair with pouch, skull. When I was a pvp tryhard I also caried a stack of every greater resistance potion on me. And would prepot if those warlocks and priests get out of hand. 2 minutes later with double resist potion and gmi I just shred them to death in catform. Nothing they can do

Awesome guide! I did the old rank grind to 13 with this very spec (minor differences). You’ve inspired me to keep grinding for BiS gear and improve my skill. I’m Jadefrost on Whitemane. Alliance, though. My biggest demotivator was the inflated economy and rampant GDKPs which create a “can’t beat em join em” mentality if you ever want to get enough gold.

From my experience, powershifting with wolf head is actually underrated for pvp as well.

Thanks for this guide! I'm interested in trying deep feral but dont have much in the way of melee gear (been running 19/11/21). Weapons in particular are a little discouraging. Do you have any recommendations pre-raid? Is unstoppable force worth a darn or just wait until a raid weapon with +attack?

Update: I went ahead and picked up an Unstoppable Force so I could equip all my feral pieces. I mathed it out and should have about 1000-1100 atp in cat form if I swapped. Will likely give it a go to see how bad it is :p We've all been attacked by those feral druids who you just chuckle at - I foresee that in my future! Will be a fun change of pace though.

hmm theres devilsaur legs and gloves, primal batskin wrists, rune of the guard captain if you're horde its from a quest. theres also the 15 agi 1 hit rings from dire maul, can use two. the 2 hit shoulders from UBRS as well. all useful stuff

Over all for duels 1vs1, sl lock is the over all best class i take it ? What about for bg pvp? Really considering when everyone is in AQ/Naxx gear, what class/spec/race you think is best for that ? Like just being in WSG or AB and get most kills ?

Warlock is without a doubt the best 1v1 class multiple tournaments have proven that by now i would say. for just chillin in Bgs i would say frost mage of any race would be a lot of fun and get a lot of kill. Could also go with the classic Undead Rogue, hemo spec. If you're just wanting to chill in BG's tho its really gonna depend on what you personally find to be fun, so just get in there and see what u like :)

How come you dont like the nature swiftness feral spec?

because to get natures swiftness, you have to give up 30% mana reduction on shapeshifting, 10% flat dmg, omen buff, and the garunteed insta roots. and for me personally thats too much of a trade off in damage and versatility.

this guide is geared towards duels and 1v1s in the world i would say. you wouldnt run a flag in WSG as this spec and in AB this spec wouldnt be very good in a big fight at blacksmith for example, but better at fighting for mine or ninja capping.

@@Germanicus46 I ran sooo many ABs. Still my favorite PvP format. What spec do you think is best there? More of a healing/support spec? Or super tanky bear? I ran around in deep feral and had my fun. Tried to sorta be fastest to where the action was if that makes sense, leaning on its mobility.

@@marcofrey2903 you can totally run deep feral omen in AB its just about playing it correctly. i tend to avoid large fights and move around a lot like you said, thats a good way of going about it. you can also do the natures swiftness bear spec to hold flags if thats ur thing.
