I just found you on KZbin and have to say that no one I've seen is as methodical as you are. You truly are the old school Motorhead. I've already have seen little things that you do that will improve my dune. Please keep them coming.

A real Meyers Manx is hard to find. Everyone calls their's a Manx or Manx style. Learn the differences between body styles. Also, buy a factory service manual. You can learn more on my website: MEYERSMANXFORSALE.COM

Note: Backing plates are different for different shoe widths. The adjuster housings are in or out further to accommodate different shoe widths.

milo, I remember reading that you are able to swap the thicker shoes where the thinner shoes were used. is this plausible as long as you swap the corresponding hardware aswell?(wheel cylinder, and longer pin) thanks!

Backing plate and drum too. This is an upgrade to give a little more braking capacity, but, it's hard to tell the difference. If you have the parts, go for it. Usually, the brakes need adjusting, blead out, or parts are mismatched, if you have a problem.
