Lovely - thank you. I've always done 8s on ride into the bridge, but like the idea of 16s. Keep up the good work (and sharing).

Joseph Tambunga Quick question what Kind of Camera do you use to film your videos?
@jtambunga15 жыл бұрын
@@jacksongorbutt I'm using an older GoPro Hero Session (the cube). I use the front of the house mix for the audio and sync up my GoPro video with the church's livestream. The audio from the GoPro isn't good enough alone.

Man. Good work. What are some of things your doing Tuning wise to get that snare and Tom sound? As well as mic placement and post processing?
@jtambunga15 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Melvin! I appreciate it. I'm sorry but I don't have any input because I'm not the one mixing it. The sound engineer at our church tunes the drums, mixes the audio, etc. I literally just play them. The audio in my vids is the mix from the livestream of the actual service.

No problem man thanks. Does he have any contact info?
@jtambunga15 жыл бұрын
@@melvinamadasun5767 I have some responses from him for you. Tuning: Snare: Medium-low tuning. I don’t measure the pitch, but it’s a low rattly indie style tuning. I think the Tama Carbon 30-strand makes the sound. Toms: Low and even. Basically as low as they can be tuned without sounding like a paper bag. Post-processing: -Yamaha CL5 channel eq for small tweaks song to song -Waves Soundgrid for tone shaping Kick in/out chains: SSL E channel eq and expansion, Scheps Omni channel hpf/lpf and compression, f6 dynamic EQ Snare Top: Torque, Scheps Omnichannel, bx_saturator, f6 Toms: API 2500, SSL E channel, f6 Drum buss: SSL Comp, Renaissance eq, Sonnox inflator Drum fake room: IR Live (m7 cleanroom IR 50% mix), Pie Compressor, TG Mastering Chain, h-eq
