I just staryed playing drums... and I watch you and a lot of others like you everyday! I do an hour on drums by myself daily and then I play with my husband and a few friends for an hour or two everyday also while they play electric guitars! at about 2:40 when he shows the "kick first" version, triplets leading with kick are also often referred to as bonham triplets

I've been working on something really cool which is: Bass, hi, snare, bass, snare, snare, bass, h-tom, snare, bass, snare, m-tom, bass, L-tom, snare, bass, bass & crash and the sticking is RLK LRK RLK LRK RLK KX and its really cool

After seeing this tutorial, I took it to the kit and used it in my 'Uptown Funk' drum cover I just completed. I hope you dont mind that I gave you some credit in my drum cover description. I am a 'beginner' after a 30 year break, so I like finding the easy and simple concepts and try to incorporate it into my playing. Thanks so much for the information.

Also I've recently been playing around with fills I know and this one as well, and I've thought of after those last 2 floor tom hits you would go like this: R~Snare L~Floor Tom R~Floor Tom L~Snare K~Kick K~Kick (Not really sure about the kick right here) L~Floor Tom R~Snare Do you think this could be more of an add on to the fill tutorial in this video or would the counting be off-beat before you went back to the drum beat?
