Mike sees slightly off centre cymbal at 5:38 and says.... "OCD, then straight" as he adjusts the cymbal to be straight. LOVE IT. Totally relate! (But I have no OCD in any other area of my life!!). Great herta video - best I've seen...

in flip-flops? my mom actually can do that. front line snare in her high school marching band in like the '50s or something

4:47... 5:56... Try accenting the L on beat 4, then kick, flam, kick, crash... or K R L - R... or you could even herta the kick by making it a double (KK R L - R). Another idea would be to sweep the hertas from a cymbal or a stack. Or try starting the herta on the snare moving to the rack tom. Final tempo here is about 100-105 bpm.
