I agree about the rooms. Leave as much presence as possible. Apparently gated reverb is a thing again too.

Overit Studios Haven’t tried Auto-Align yet; I’ve just spent my plugin budget on Izotope’s RX 8 standard. Guess I’ll just have to keep making liberal use of the Control-T keys.

Do you insert auto-align after the eq (and other processing) or as the first plugin in the chain?

It's recommended that auto align always be the first plugin in the chain so it can respond directly to the source audio rather than be influenced by other processing. Since this is measuring SAMPLES, it's an important step. Thanks for the comment!
