I have been modulating for years not knowing what it was. Is it just me or does it come pretty natural for the more basic modulations.

But it's not really a tempo change is it? It's like going from straight time to double time. It's really super imposing.

The double time example was just an explanation of how it functions 🙂 It is, by definition, a tempo change 👌
