I think he "just" spends most of the day playing and trying stuff out. Playing in a successful band is limiting. You're on tour, playing the same songs over and over again, traveling and all that. Fans want you to keep playing a certain style, the other band members have their influence etc. Of course talent takes a part in it. Some people will never get to his level, but it's mostly just extremely hard work. That's the good thing about social media. Sometimes people can just make money through pure skill. He can keep his passion going and get rich doing it

Lifelong drummer here. It's the posture coupled with the complete and total efficiency of movement for me. That amount of power with zero wasted energy blows my mind.
@flutte1974
@flutte1974 Жыл бұрын
Yea, this guy is so relaxed and smooth in his movements. Neil Peart had to take classes with Peter Erskine to loosen up, but this guy seems to have it just naturally. Which, of course, is due to him doing his 10.000 hours of practicing with the single goal of getting better.

I'm not a drummer (always wanted to), but always gmfavored great drummers, & while I love drummers that show their energy & passion, yet his efficacy & calmness on highly technical pieces is just beautiful to watch. I appreciate it on some videos where he wipes his brow afterwards just so we know he is human.

I'm not a drummer but somehow gotten sucked into a drumming vortex in my youtube feed. Even From the first video of this guy that popped up on my screen, I could tell a dramatic difference between him and every other drummer, not because of all his fancy tricks but because every single sound is clean and precise. Even without watching, it just sounds so different. You hear every individual sound. Amazing.

I haven’t stopped watching him play the drums for like 4 days straight now.. I normally hate when a classic song is done differently and even if the original band is the one doing the song different but what he adds to all these iconic classic songs is absolutely amazing…I haven’t heard a version he does that I didn’t like better than the original… the guy is outstanding! He has a very humble likable personality too.

You know you are witnessing greatness when someone performs something incredibly technical and difficult yet it appears effortless and smooth. I may be showing my age, but if you've seen Gene Kelly dancing, he makes it looks as smooth and easy as walking. Siberiano is just floating in the zone making it look easy when it most certainly is not.

Drummer for 30 years here. Your boy practices technique so much that he can maintain his relaxed composure through the hardest parts. As a drummer yourself you know the sweet sound of pure, sure confidence. Myself- my sure footed confidence ends at a level far, far below that of the great one, el Estepario.

The Siberian Steppario itself is a drum Kratos itself a drum solo, a genius, a god of drums. The guy plays everything and a Tesla donates drummers of the world . Another guy who plays everything and Jeff Porcaro, is an Einstein a drum Gambit, now imagine these two in a duet of drum solos playing the musical classics of all the musical genres of the world of course with an orchestra accompaniment, man, Bros runs the risk of the world exploding and the paletia heart attack, delirious going to the hospital seriously, I thought that after Jeff I was not going to see anyone Steppe showed me that my historical forecast was still too early and context fira. These 2 drummers had to do a repair together playing all the rhythms of the world with smelhires songs, the paleteia who loves music and the drummers who love drum solos repairs and orchestras and drum solos were honored and amazed at such an event 💙💙💙💙💙💎💎💎💎💎💎👏👏👏. When I saw 2 videos of the Steppario I already knew I was in front of a genius no one on this earth will tick his way no, no chance until the guy is another dimension, I already spoke to the steppe touch Mars and the Moon 🌝 🌙 A 🌎 🌍 is small for him really without exaggeration. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

In his video thanking subs for either 1 or 2 million -- I forgot which because there wasn't much time between them -- he described how his life circumstances changed. He went from practicing a couple hours a day to 8 hours a day. That level of dedication transformed what he can do. It's part of his belief that talent isn't the secret but rather hard work is. Check those videos if you'd like to see his exact explanation.

Changing hand position seems so much easier in comparison to the independence it takes to switch gears like that. Idk maybe it seems like that to me because I’m a lefty that plays on a right handed kit. It’s weird for me to keep time with my dominant foot while my weaker foot plays the groove

I saw on an other reaction channel (a drum channel) that Dennis Chambers actually did praise El Estepario Siberiano. I am not that familiar with Dennis Chambers, the genres he plays are not something I listen to regularly, but I know he is one of the teachers for Drumeo and from what I understand he is a well regarded drummer that is inducted in the "Modern Drummer" hall of fame according to wikipedia. Granted El Estepario Siberiano nowadays is also part of the Drumeo family, but I am sure someone like Dennis Chambers wouldn't just say something if he didn't believe it.

He could probably do it while drinking a coffee with one hand. I can not think of another drummer that is even close to him - peart and bonham included.

May his arms never leave his body, lest the world break and shatter. This guy has created a whole new style of drumming that brings so much more to the song; gives it so much more presence and fullness; no matter the song. I look forward to a world full of drummers that play like this guy. Just wow.

I've never drummed, but I feel like this guy makes it look so incredibly easy to play this well that it's just completely unfair to everyone that is a drummer 😂

I’m not a musician, or even completely into any form of music, but this drummer makes me realize I’m watching greatness.

Non drummer here but love the drums. Thanks for taking 3 minutes to explain what we were looking for! Lol You can hear the subtleties of the sounds but his hands are so fast that I couldn’t catch it visually until the second or third time you replayed the video! 🙌🏼

He plays the battery like it's so easy. Anyone watching can do it, it feels like work... A person who has never had a baguette in their hands would not know how hard it is. this man of amateurs idol.profesy.respect

I'm not a drummer, but I love the drums. I am observant enough to catch that at the same time you did. I knew what you were about to freak out to. Again, not a drummer, but seen the difficulty in what he was doing.
