Commmenting right after Song of Fools, sorry if it was figured out later in the stream: On the audio, its apparently mixed to (try to) get rid of the audience sounds. Chinese viewers had similar complains but they figured out that was the case, because people who attended the actual concert said people were singing/cheering along pretty much the whole time. Remember 2022 had no live audience. Also says a lot about the audience cheer that broke through the mixing meant to get rid of them. LOL By the way the screaming at the end of Song of Fools, they were screaming 杀死大海 meaning kill the sea.

Now the question is, why would they even try to remove the audience sounds. It's what makes a live concert recording, fun.

@@beefystu559 You are right lol some chinese audience are asking for a non removed version. But I suspect they did it because you wouldn't be able to hear the concert otherwise. Etiher way, I got those from watching the bilibili comments so don't quote me

@@WLHT Chinese audiences can be a bit extra lol. Yeah, you probably couldn't hear shit if they didn't do it, and they probably noticed it during editing and had to try and fix it.

Just some (very oversimplified) context for the part around 1:06:00 because I think it's really cool in context. Basically, the animation is for an event called Invitation to Wine. The boss of the event is a dragon god called Sui and two of the characters involved with the story are Ling and Lee. The first part of the animation plays as normal, but cuts off before the scene where Ling fights Sui in the animation. Instead, the concert plays the Sui boss battle theme. Afterwards, it goes back to the animation, but it cuts again at the end before Lee walks through the doorway. This time, the concert plays Lee's theme. I just think it's cool how they incorporated the music into the animation like that by representing those scenes with the music associated with those characters. Also, while on the topic, I never knew the Sui theme had actual lyrics. I just assumed the chanting sounds were just there to make it more epic. So that was pretty cool to learn it actually has meaning.

Just a random normal Arknights enjoyer finding this video. I enjoyed hearing your comments on the concert throughout it. And yea, I think most the singers did really well considering English isn't their native language. And I wasn't crazy when I thought something sounded more lackluster compared to the previous concert, glad you cleared it up why that was lol. Visuals this time was pretty sweet, I wish I can one time be there in person.

Accents are no joke to me. It's honestly plain old interesting hearing how language changes pronunciation. Even just singing can change your approach to a language via accent, not to mention ALSO doing so in another language. The intricacies of phonemes are honestly fascinating and it's something I've studied a lot as a special interest in the past. Of course sometimes it can be funny hearing a non-native pronunciation, but I 100% know if I tried to sing in their language I'd sound like someone was trying to waterboard me with bars of soap so I hope they clown on me all the same. I'm not even bilingual, so they're just better people than me off the rip. It takes commitment and effort I've been too intimidated by. I definitely have no intent of making fun of people for it. If it comes off that way, it's probably due to my lack of social skills 🫠 Sorry for yappin 🙇
