Barone played the drums on it during their EU tour. However on the recording, the backing band usually arent there unless needed on certain songs. Oh and yes it was most likely composed with 9 string in mind since they just released a 9 string guitar. The backing band however plays just on their preferred instruments.

Today is like BxMxC day lol. To me, its Babymetal showing their swag, its like a statement from the whole crew saying "if you don't at least respect us, we'll stomp on ya as we keep marching on" It's a shame it was a Japanese exclusive song, but I'm so glad they at least released a official video. It was premiered live in Japan in the Summer 2019, but did not feature in the North American tour in Autumn 2019. It was already a fan favourite when it replaced Elevator Girl in the European leg of the tour in early 2020; a tour that was cut short by the Pandemic.

Léo forgive me if I was wrong about the live debut. I assumed it was played at the Meal Galaxy launch. I realise that it wasn’t played during the USA leg, but was in Europe, so that makes sense. I have the Japanese Vinyl, and feel it was a shame that it didn’t feature on the European release.

They did finish the original run of European dates, right through to the shows in Russia. When they got European festival dates arranged for the summer, they slotted in some additional club shows - these are the ones that didn't happen.

There's a reason they used auto-tune on her voice in the album version. It's a diss track for a certain Japanese hip-hop genre that uses it. Like what Eminem said in The Ringer (Kamikaze album) about mumble rappers: "Do you have any idea how much I hate this choppy flow. Everyone copies though? Probably no". It's like Su and Eminem saying the same thing. Speaking of which, I would like to see Eminem featured in one of Babymetal's song in the future.

Before the pandemic shit has started they were testing the rest of the world through smaller venues. With the amount of traction they are having now, the next world tour will be a stadium tour. And I am happy about that. Their first album didn't click for me because their voices weren't fitting the backing instruments. But maaaaan, my mind was blown seeing their performances from the last tour and the way how Suzuka grew to an absolute monster of a vocalist. (While keeping in pace with Moa killing it around.) They are full package girls, band, live performance, and creativity in their music for pretty much anyone who loves a good piece of art. .... After Wagakki Band this is another Japanese band I want to see live.

I actually really didn't like the studio version when I first heard it, because of the effects on Su's voice with her singing in an unfamiliar style. After hearing the live version I was able to get over that and it became my favourite song on the album. I don't think it felt right in the stadium performances, though. I actually was there in Belgium live (more to the left of where the camera is) and i can testify, i was amazed afterwards the roof was still on the building. I heard the studio version of this song only once and while i didn't like it too much because of same reason OP said, it didn't sound as good because of the autotune/effects, but when they played this live i was in shock

So the actual live band last year.. til covid were different players then the normal Kami Band. As for what you hear from the studio versions. They keep a real tight lip on whos playing for some reason. I have been able to tell on some songs due to the style of the guitar solos. Who actually played it in the studio. But not many songs I can figure out. Probably guys no ones who they really are. They are just bad ass musicians. They do have guest guitar players on some songs. Example Herman Li ( Road of Resistance ) and the kid from Polyphia Tim Henson. ( Brand New Day ). actually one of my favorites from new Album. DADADA Dance has Tak Matsumoto.

The kami band doesn't play in the studio versions of the songs. The only one that features both live and in the studio is Leda Cygnus. The other guys only play live.

When you have to make excuses for why you are drinking (coffee) you might have a problem. This is not the Kami Band this is the studio version. The Kami Band only does live shows. This is ?? I know that Dragonforce arranged the guitars for Road of Resistance and played them on the studio version. Do they have the person who arranges the guitars play the studio version for each song? Dunno. I'm not a musician but they'd probably have to play the songs while they were arranging the music to make sure it sounds good?
