Thank you to our patron Bill E for another little known psych band from the 60s. They have a very unique sound... It's out there for sure.

If you’d like to donate to the channel or just show your appreciation, all the details are below. I created this channel for my daughter, so she has videos of her father talking and doing something he enjoys(listening to music and talking about it) since I don’t have any of those of my father. :) thank you again for your generosity guys, I appreciate you all more then you will ever know.

US 1968 original LP recently sold for $2400 on Ebay. UK originals sell for very pricey amounts too when they are advertised for sale

So many different sounds! Spirit in the sky popped in my head as well as some others that I can't pinpoint. Very much of the sound of my youth. Enjoyed the ride :) Thanks Bill E

I’ve never heard of July. Very interesting! Historical… Psychedelic rock. An of the times album cover. Looking down on Lee? Thank you, John and Lee.

When you mentioned the band members I realized two o' dem later formed Jade Warrior, another fantastic group that melded etherial mellow fluty vibes with hard rock. Highly recommended.

I do remember this group from when I was 17, but I am more familiar with the track "My Clown". Thanks for the time warp, Bill. Blessings all.

Even if I’m from the 60’s music discovery…the world is wide… this release is new to me, maybe a little underground for me…my taste.

Not many people have heard of July. They have two albums released 1968/69 period; July and Second of July. Another hard to find band is Pussy. There are actually two bands with that name; an American and a British band. The American band released it's only album Pussy Plays in 1969. The British band released its only album called Invasion in 1972. They both are interesting finds.

Not their best song, but cool, if a little muddy sounding. "My Clown" or "The Way" are probably better choices. Luckily, I managed to grab both of their 45's years ago at reasonable prices. A copy of the "My Clown" single, sold for £225 ($300) a few weeks back here in the U.K.! Hey... who shouted for "Path Through The Forest" by The Factory? THE ultimate British psych 45!

@@johnewart1635 Ball's in your court John. I had a chance of grabbing a copy of "Path..." back in the 90's, but was put off by the price, £50!

Love all the UK underground groups and rarities of 60s. Another amazing psych UK band of late 60s was 'Tomorrow' who had Steve Howe on guitar. 'My White Bicycle' is their best track.

@@johnewart1635 Got both of their 45's, and an LP re-issue. Don't forget Dantalian's Chariot "Madman Running...", or Fresh Windows "Fashion Conscious" 45's, which I managed to pick up years ago for reasonable prices in comparison to what they go for these days!
