1:49 Boss themes aside, Genshin tends to have a LOT of classical (or baroque in this case) inspired music, it's definitely more common in the overworld themes such as this one. They're all amazing and I would say Genshin's strongest selling point is its music because it's so accurate to the source material for want of a better word (the source material being traditional and classical music). I mean if you forget all the nerdy music student shit they're all just bangers anyway lmao

I still remember the event this theme was introduced in. Roaming around the imaginary fantasy castle with talking ravens was fun. And Fischl's storyline of course. In fact, this theme references the motif from her demo.

"inevitable conflict" and "combat beneath the waves" are some tracks from genshin i really hope you listen too they have classical influence but no electrontic sounds, most of the overworld combat is less electronic sounding than boss fights so def worth a listen just to show genshin variety, and their best aspects are how nicely they just blend into the exploration tracks.

there's also a ton of good tracks that aren't combat, my personal fav is devestation and redeption, that could be good listens since a lot of the genshin you've listened to is combat music

It's crazy how limited this piece is. While the original theme has been around since the beginning of the game (Fischls theme) this version only comes out in a limited event involving the character. It's really great that people are noticing considering that it is never heard of again in the game!

I love this OST so much unfortunately it showed up once in the game and never again TT There's a genshin song called "Divine Damsel of Devastation" that you might like. It's traditional Chinese opera so it's very different but it's one of my favorites from the game. Unlike most of the other themes you've reacted to it's not a boss or a character theme. It's essentially one character performing a story based on the life of another character. There's also a live version and it's also amazing but I'd also recommend watching the cutscene version bc the animations are very pretty

for an event boss music, this is still one of my favourite genshin OSTs, still surpasses Scaramouche's boss theme... because this can top and bop even without the context that's coming from the game. YPC outdid himself with this, paying homage to the classics yet still giving its own identity. also, shoutout to some salty genshin players who are still in denial about Fischl's 8th grade snydrome.
