I’ve noticed a couple comments that mention that he does all of this with a single kick pedal, so I felt the need to clarify that he does in fact tend to use double kick - either with a traditional double pedal, or at times with a modified (perhaps experimental?) pedal that he utilizes that is what at first glance appears to be a single pedal with two beaters, the second of which is actually activated by stepping on a lever on the side of the pedal proper, responsible for activating the second beater, and making it so that on every upswing of the pedal, the second beater swings, resulting in a mechanism wherein every “single pedal press” literally creates two kick drum beats/hits… I WOULD typically consider this sort of thing “cheating“ on the part of a drummer (being a drummer myself), but this dude… Lol… The rest of us would need many such devices to cheat our way into even approaching the most basic foundations of his entire approach/technique/ability/performance/overall capabilities; such devices, that might enable us mortals to possibly fake effectively that which he can pull off with half of his appendages, become weapons of thunderous, mass rock n’ roll destruction when he chooses to wield them, and I for one shall not deny him that choice! 🤘

Started seeing haters pop up through tout some of Esteparios videos I don’t know shit about drums Haters say he isn’t as good as ( insert name) And I watched some of those guys Truth is maybe he isn’t as good maybe he is better but for me he is the only drummer I truly enjoy watching and hearing Something about his demeanor and fluidity. Then after hearing him talk on some topics I just have a lot of respect for him. Never once has he tried to be the greatest.
