Junna is currently 28. She has worked with Marty Friedman of Megadeath, Trident Japan, Unlucky Morpheus and Fate Gear that I know of. She also represents Pearl Drums in Japan and does solo shows. From what I've read she started on the drums at 15…she's amazing!

I (finally) met this amazing young lady in person earlier this year in Canada as she graciously sat in for the drummer of FATE GEAR on tour who could not make the trip, after following her for years. JUNNA is a force to be reckoned with. She is now with the band HAGANE and we are hoping for a US tour in 25 or 26. While this is great, her claim to fame is an old cover of "Through the Fire and Flames" by Dragonforce. She is also a founding member of a wonderful band called TRiDENT but most of the older recordings have been deleted from KZbin. If all you see is pigtails and drumsticks, it's JUNNA!!!

Japan still teaches the arts in their schools. Music is taught and student bands are encouraged. There are even talent show, where Music industry honchos , come to. Scouting for future talent. There is even a school, Tokyo School of Music, that is a 2 year vocational school for musicians wanting to work in the Japanese music industry. Note: Akane, drums and Misa, bass of Band Maid are alumni.

She has made a couple of more videos. They are all fun to watch. The classic is "Throug the fire and flames", but you can choose anything. Currently she is drummer in the band Hagane, an all female Japanese metal/pop band. That band has made a total regroup quite recently and then added Junna. Their video with the song Hero Time is very good. You can clearly hear all the instruments, and the drums are loud and wild. Their most popular video is with the song Tenka Goken, but I think it has a bad mixing so you do not hear the instruments. NOTE - that in spite of what you see in her covers, she is not crazy. Actually a quite normal woman. And she can put constraints on her antics in a band. At least mostly.

BTW - that band has a totally unreal guitar player. Now, in Hero Time they are cheating and she is playing two guitars. Hagane would benefit from having yet another unreal guitar player, just as several other Japanese band does. There seems to be lots of them in Japan.

Junna = Amazing drummer, She joined a band called "Hagane" they are amazing, Guitarist Sakura is fantastic. Japanese women who are into metal music are fantastic. Do yourself a favor and check them out. Also check out Lovebites, Bridear, Fate Gear along with Hagane. 4 different style metal bands that are great.
