@@wingsoficarus1139 i mean you are right at episode 6 where the focus is on the MC and his hilarious training arc (if you haven't binged it already). In episode 4 and 5 are like MC heavy because he is with his friends fighting the curse spirit in the detention center. Sukuna is a part of him and he is figuring him out.. the first half of the anime is actually really good and it is more MC screen time than the rest half.. if you haven't binged it - trust me. It's going to be worth the ride - you are not even on the episodes which made this anime blow up in the anime community - eps 7 and 19-20.

Ranking of Kings is also very good. it actually irked me so much that the visuals for that song were not the actual opening, because not only are the visuals in this video huge potential spoilers for the entire late first season, but the original opening worked so effectively with the song. I know the animated visuals aren't the point in these videos, but it's like... mildly upsetting. same with Jujutsu Kaisen. and I'm also not sure why the second OP for Jujutsu Kaisen wouldn't be included as well? idk, whoever put the openings together has made some really strange choices.

The Japanese language lends itself very well to music due to how every character in their phonetic alphabets is a syllable, so every word in the language is made from short syllables of sound that flow together easily. They almost always share the same "vowel" sounds in a/i/u/e/o (ah, E, ooh, eh, oh) so there's already a musical quality to it on top of that.

If that sounds like something you'd like, then "Dramaturgy" is undoubtedly the fan favorite, and I'd personally wholeheartedly recommend "Tokyo Ghetto". If you found the music to best so passionate and well made, knowing what she is saying REALLY brings home the intensity and ferocity of that song. I don't care what people say about that anime. Nothing is better than TK from Ling Tisute Sigure for Tokyo Ghoul. This opening became legendary and back days it was one of the first things that stood out of a crowd and was completely different, powerfull and passionate. I became their fan after this song. It seems to me that this opening and song kinda changed some things in industry for popular animes (as long as the manga did in industry itself) and opened the doors for powerful perfomances in anime, as long as more kind of experimental, rock, metal stuff for openings. That day they were so different among very similar uninteresting openings, it's kinda they made a difference for such stuff as Jujutsu Kaisen openings to have a chance in future to be used, as to before very regular and not standing out stuff would be picked. their songs for Psycho-Pass openings were cool as well, and made to feel the mood of the anime, and all animes that they made openings for were cool, fresh, standing out and unique. I really think they deserved popularity they got after this sog, it's unique in its chaotics. So the last song for Domestic Girlfriend was sooooo goood, i deeply impressed, my heart is forever with Ling Tisute Sigure for Tokyo Ghoul 🖤🖤🖤

Watch the full version of the Tokyo Ghoul opening. In the anime community, it's a meme, but it's a masterpiece.

something i just found out about the mob openings today was that is is made by "mob choir" which consists of people who work on the show, so voice actors and animators are the ones who made those intros, they dont go to actual bands for it they made their own which is amazing

Whoever made the video with all these songs had great taste! And I also loved how Domestic Girlfriend's opening Crying for Rain was the only one that's not edited from the original MV, and in full instead of the TV version. It goes to highlight how good the MV was. That song was a masterpiece on its own, it's a pity it had to be used for such a trainwreck of a show. This MV had 169million views on KZbin and counting. Just crazy

If you loved the Jujutsu Kaisen opening, you should check out the first Outro song (credits) it’s a jam. Also the ranking of kings opening in this video was one that is significantly more impactful in the context of the story itself and with its lyrics (in English captions). It’s really dedicated to being a part of the story where as a lot of anime openings are a lot more adjacent to the actual show and more to get the audience excited rather than being a compliment to the show itself.

I completely disagree with you. It may be contextually better, but the visual impact was trash compared to the actual opening visuals

I would love to hear his reaction to both of the outros, back to back, just because they're so different I want it to throw him for a loop, I feel like it could be interesting.

@@fvoarin1307 I genuinely have no clue what you are referring to. My comment was referring to the impact of the opening itself being more impactful with the lyrics to the song being understood rather than NOT knowing what the singer is saying, and that the lyrics themselves having more impact when you understand what’s happening in the show itself rather than JUST watching the opening stand alone. I really don’t get what your comment is saying, especially in reference to my comment.

@@MatthewGalon If you don't know what I meant, then you didn't watch the video. Otherwise why would you say "the opening in this video", and then not realsiing that I was pointing to the opening animations used in this video, not being those of the actual opening That is what I was commenting on. Because, in my view, there would be no other reason for you to have specified "within this video" That's what my comment was getting at. But it seems, that you were specifying this opening over the first one, as that's the only other use for spcification

@@fvoarin1307 why you’re getting aggravated at your comment being unclear is beyond me. I did not comment about the visuals at all in my comment. I am aware that they aren’t the original art. All I was commenting on was that the music has a greater impact with the context of the plot/characters and the lyrics. That’s it. Nothing to do with the visuals. That’s why I was confused.
