The original song arrangement is actually by Kikuo who has done similar songs to this in the past, I highly recommend listening to him! But Ado's way of singing is super impressive and will surely have a big influence!

A while ago I showed my musician friends her music, but they weren’t really fans of it… The people I do know who listen to her aren’t musicians or my type of people in general. For that reason I really enjoy these videos man! Love hearing someone else who really gets it appreciate the great stuff going on. Watching you slowly become an Ado fan and being unable to restrain tangent Tony was awesome as well😂👋

The thing is ado's vocals can be a bit cringe sometimes, especially if you aren't hugely into japanese music. I personally think some of her deliveries are just...too much. But she deffo has some songs that i really like.

What gets me about Ado is the fact most people talk about a tool belt or tool box of skills for singing. I swear Ado has a two ton box that takes two forklifts to carry it and it has a thousand drawers with many voices in each.

Ive been waiting for this one, its one of my favorite Ado songs, the way she manages to portray the emotions, the suffering and the madness of the main character of the story in the song, with her voice is unbelievable. Accompanied with the fun, in some parts almost circus like music, making the song sound dark, cynical, misanthropic and messed up.

Loved the video ! Don't apologize for pausing a lot, the analysis is always worth it ! This song and especially Ado's version is mind-blowing. I do see the similarities with Janis Joplin. May I recommend the k-indie artist Cacophony, she also has a very unique voice that goes from whisper to scream in her songs. She probably won't do well reaction-wise because she's quite unknown but even if you don't react/analyse it I think she's worth checking out.

Ado's role model is Sheena Ringo, a Japanese singer who has been established for a long time and is one of the most famous Japanese singers. She also plays a lot with her voice and has a similar style to Ado. But in my opinion Ado takes this style to another level.
