Takeshi Saito’s voice is something else,it feels like a constant voice crack that he weaponized to make sound good, when you think he can’t go higher he does exactly that. Combo it with Kevin’s amazing composition and you get this masterpiece of a song. Many songs from Made in Abyss hit the spot right in the feels, and this one of the special ones that hit even harder

I want to conbine it with a synthesized version of the bloodborne beast scream. The one that sounds almost like a womans scream just slightly added to the background when the vocalist goes really high. I just keep visualizing a combination of a creature in made in abyss and bloodborne, a person turned monster lamenting after an uncontrollable rampage. I think it can fit both stories pretty well.

This was one of the most rewarding Tony vids. Rare to seem him so entranced he can't pause. Don't think he's ever made it two minutes into a piece before he first pauses. I'm so obsessed about this song, Takeshi Saito's voice is so freaking unbelievable, out ouf this world. I love the crescendo of this music, how it starts so still and so sad, and becomes this triumphant, almost regal melody when the brass comes in. The whole song feels like a journey - it makes me think of scenes like the ending of Ori and the Blind Forest's intro, when Ori dies and is revived by the sacred tree, mixed with some of the Disney's Beauty and the Beast ending, when the Beast is transformed back to human. VOH makes me think of that - death, rebirth and transformation. So cool!!

When you look at Penkin's early compositions and find a lot of electroacoustic music it finally clicks. The ability to use a WIDE variety of timbres to create dynamic moods is just unmatched. It really is astound the ability to convey feeling and still create an enjoyable listening experience. I've been watching for a while Tony, and this video is one of the best examples of why your channel is great. We can tell your earnest reaction whenever you get blasted by amazing sound. You mix in your passion for music with a very interesting technical aspect or argument for the viewer to focus. Plus you even give comments that take in consideration the fact it is a video being watched (going back to present points and indulge in it, saying to the viewer it is going to be loud). Keep up the good stuff, glad you can find stuff you really like!

you know what gets me the most with this song? the fact that its as long as it is, being around 7 minutes long, yet listening to it makes it actually feel like its 2 minutes long. its just so impressive and it catches you in all the right ways and creates a song that is really long, but feels super short because of how amazing it is. its not even my favorite MIA song, but its so incredibly well made it blows my mind, so i have to give it the respect it deserves. had to edit this real quick, but the way the vocals are used in combination with the lyrics makes the vocals feel like another instrument being played. afaik, the lyrics arent real words, but thats what creates that feel for me. its like his voice is just another instrument being played on top of everything else and i love it! ive seen a few people react to this song over the past few weeks, and heard about people who had heard it for the first time, and everyone reacts to it in a very similar way. i know its just a song, its just music, its just 7 minutes of music. but its such a powerful 7 minutes that im going out of my way to comment on a youtube video to exclaim how much i appreciate it. i cant wait to see what the soundtrack will be like in season 3, whenever that happens.
