Do you crush the whole drum set? Including hi hat and overheads? Bottom snare? All rack Toms?
@scrummyvision4 жыл бұрын
sometimes i won't include the kick, sometimes i'll just filter it out of the crush track. same with hats and room mics, if things get really harsh. i think about what frequency bands need more oomph, start there, then expand the range until it feels about right.

Siempre sonará bien la batería en "solo", pero con los demás instrumentos comienza los desafíos. Creo también que la compresión del snare, es muy dura.

So do you need to mute safe the drum channels or the crush bus so you can solo the crush bus?

how do you get the faders to show up in the sends area?
@gregsadlerdrums4 жыл бұрын
Click on "View" and scroll down to "Expand Sends" and you can either select all or just the specific send you want to see the faders for.

Why does everybody need to fuck with drum recording sound so much? Oh yeah cause most drummers can't tune or play right. Ok I see now.

sound is not good because its clipping
@KingBlonde7 жыл бұрын
He's not clipping it, he's compressing it. The output of the final track was lower in volume than original.
