Gregg is one of the smoothest, most diverse and creative drummers out there! And, he's a Detroit boy!

Great review of Gregg Bissonette's arsenal of creativity, technique and skills. The greatest fun fact was hearing he attended University of North Texas. It seems there's quite a chronicle of high-level drummers who graduate from this school. Thanks.

Had no idea he was such an accomplished jazzer...cool stuff!

Bissonette is remarkably flexible, a style chameleon. He can change to fit the music, jazz, funk, pop, whatever. It's all based on an absolutely rock solid technique foundation.

Garey, thanks, the improved audio is much better. Your mic is a bit hot compared to track, that's about my only suggestion. Good work.

Can you react to Eric Carr's Drum Solo on The Animalize Tour
@johnnyroma14084 жыл бұрын
I'm just curious, I'm not trying to be disrespectful, and I believe I have a very valid point. Who is this particular individual to critique acclaimed drummers such as Peter Criss, Eric Carr, Etc. Not just this particular drummer but the aforementioned drummers as well. I mean really. Would any of these drummers take advice from this guy? There is an expression: those who can't do, teach. Or in sports those who can't do, write. I mean, what is this guy bringing to the table? If he had anything to offer other than a wedding band level of expertise, wouldn't he be the one doing the solos for some of the most iconic rock bands ever before sold out stadiums? This is like when I read about a batting coach trying to work with Don Mattingly or Wade Boggs. Of course a guy like this is perfect for a high school music class but please don't start telling me what Eric Carr is doing or how Peter Criss can be a better drummer.

Hi Johnny! Thanks for your response. I mean no disrespect to the drummers i react to and analyze their playing. There is no such thing as the best drummer. It's personal taste, like with food. Popularity is often confused with quality. Playing and teaching the drums will improve your drumming more than just playing or just teaching:kzbin.info/www/bejne/epardIxjnquahs0 Here is a link to one of my drum solos for you to critique. It will give you a better idea of my playing abilities:kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGTNnKqpfLljm6M I wish you all the very best with your drumming.
