Fans inside and outside Canada mourned the passing of Susan on April 25/2022. To my ears, she was always one of the most distinctive voices in the pantheon of Canadian female vocalists. Godspeed Susan Jacks.

I would up that to World Female Vocalists. I am a huge fan of ABBA, Karen Carpenter, Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, and Olivia Newton John. She can match any of them in her own unique way, easily.

I remember watching Susan perform live behind Eatons on Front street in New Westminster, BC many years ago. In those days she was Susan Pesklevits. RIP, dear Susan. (August 19, 1948 - April 25, 2022) 💗

Woke up to this song my first morning in Prince George. Best song ever. Valdy, Bim & Bob Ruzicka closed their concert with it up in Whitehorse 1976.

Oops! Missed your question 5 years ago - that's Zak Sinclair. His Dad, David Sinclair, is the one on electric guitar.

I adored her from the first time I saw her, Susan Pesklevits on television singing this song at age 16. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4vYp36bq8uYo8U You can read all about the life of Susan Jacks but to meet her in person was a treat because she was a lovely lady.
