I opened for Behemoth at their first south african show. I crapped my pants when I was playing my set and saw Inferno staring at me from backstage. Another amaazing drummer that I've been into since 2002! I first heard "As Above, So Below" on some cable tv radio channel way back then, and the drum line immediately sold me. I was on board 100% with the music of Behemoth. I have bought every record since, and my love for Inferno's power and style has only grown! To hear him say that he is self taught absolutely blows me away! That's amazing! My absolute favorite Behemoth memory is seeing them in Detroit in 2018 headlining in support of "I Loved You At Your Darkest." I hadn't picked up the album yet and only heard two songs so far. When the band started "Bartzabel," it jumped straight to the top of my favorite Behemoth songs. Number one, based solely on that drumming. Absolutely incredible! Thanks so much for this great interview!

One great thing about him is he's constantly struggling to improve, he questions his own work, and still moves ahead and progress. And that while being the top drummer, yeah yeah i know George Kollias but Inferno has more creativity and emotion in his drum tracks IMHO, all the while breaking speed records, because why the fuck not, as he said they wanted to prove something. And that fact he's still humble about it all and still sees a way of progression is really great.
