I have the drumtec kit for the TD-9 module and I think it's amazing. Show!

So what's the next sound edition gonna be? Td50x metal? Maybe vintage?

Are there any advantages to using Roland headphones? rh300v vs audio technica m50x?

Thinking of gettting a TD50x. Can you import multi layered samples from EZdrummer for example?

@@JuanJacinto this is the closest I have come to finding that out (a blend) "getting my best results when I shut off the Roland tom sounds completely, using only the EZD3 Tom sounds, and then I’m blending EZD3’s snare/hat/cymbals and Kick with sounds from my module. The Toms are 100% from EZD3, while the rest of the kit is a blend of EZD3 PLUS the Roland TD50X module. Note: no additional sound editing or post production was used done - this is all done live, and the sound you’re hearing is straight from the mixer ‘as is’. I’m running the module and my laptop into my mixer using different channels, and then just dialing in the different levels. I choose to use my VST’s together with my Roland TD50X. In the first part of this video, I have local control turned ‘off’ inside the 50X, and you’re just hearing Superior Drummer 3. It’s the Bob Rock ‘Kit 1’from the SD3 core pack, played by itself. In the second part of the video, I turned local control ‘on’ inside my module, and I’m playing the same SD3 kit, but now you’re hearing it together with my TD50X. The TD50X kit is a Gretsch kit from Drum-Tec’s ‘Real Acoustics’ pack, but the snare and cymbals are from a Vexpression pack. In fairness, I haven’t done any editing in SD3 as it’s still new to me. I have not taken the time to do any editing at all, while the kit inside my module has extensive editing. That said, there’s an immediacy and punch from the module that I haven’t gotten yet from SD3 or EZD3. BUT, the real sounds, dynamics and articulations inside SD3 can’t be matched by any module, IMO. Therefore, I choose to run them together for a ‘best of both worlds’ playing experience."

@@FogmasterLeghorn Thanks for the info! That's exactly what I do at the moment, with my TD-12. I only use very short sounds on my module, and blend it with EZD3 or SD3, but I would love to have a setup that doesn't depend on a computer. Also would love the sounds not so suck like Roland usually does. Let's see. Hopefully next module will have better sounds.
