I also don't know that I could be less goth but I just love her confidence and passion as well. I think seeing people truly happy in what they do is incredibly inspiring and strangely comforting. I can listen to people talk about almost anything if they truly love it and know how to express themselves in a semi-articulate way. There is an endearing element to it, too. A purity, perhaps. It's theirs and ours, and no one else's.

KORPIKLAANI!!!!!!!! the back of the shirt, "metallia harmonikkaan", means "metal into/to an accordion" 8) just thought that you might like to know (also the band's name can't be translated too well, korpi in Finnish means a type of forest, usually people call forests that are extremely out of touch with civilization that. the only translation I could find was wilderness, so I guess the best translation for the band's name would be wildernessclan)

For anyone wondering, korpiklaani is Finnish and translates to raven clan. The text on the back of the shirt ("metallia hanuriin") literally means "metal into the accordion" but it's also a pun; the word for accordion (hanuri) also means ass.

I just thought "Wait did I just hear 'Korpiklaani'!?" and then saw the shirt, it made me fricking gasp, I wasn't expecting that! Personally, I feel like I'm more of a metalhead than a goth music lover, Korpiklaani is one of my favourites, their gigs are super fun! The text on the back can be read either as "Metal into accordion/harmonica", but "hanuri" also is often used to mean "ass", so it's a wordplay. Hanuri is a nickname for harmonica, another fun Finnish nickname being "pirunkeuhko" meaning "devil's lung". Ohh damn I really want to go to WGT some time. The headpiece/hat is my favourite, but the drunk you sure has an eye for drunken shopping!

I went to WGT in 2005. It was fantastic. I've always wanted to go back but never seem to have the funds and everything else together at the same time. Would totally recommend it to anyone who has never gone.

drinking and shopping together is great! there's a store like that here in minneapolis and they sell oddities unlike anything I've seen. A taxidermy zebra, old portions of carnivals, chemistry gear, plants, etc and etc. all while you're sipping complementary, that's right complementary self-served vino or beer.
