Even when the officers were 100% reasonable and trying to work with her, no judgement or personal opinions from the officers. Dw X I believe your story about your friend cuz I did that once. It was more because it was dark and I was driving in the country and there wasn't a stop ahead sign than the alcohol but I drove straight through the stop sign into a field because it was a turn left or right stop sign. I got out of my car and walked the 2 miles or whatever to my house and just had to pay the tow bill, no charges.

Im always really surprised about these field sobriety tests, like dont they have some more scientific procedure at the station? Like in germany they just make you blow right away into the tube
@paulofernando78982 жыл бұрын
its an outdated system, i feel like they use it in order to save some of those tubes they attach on to the breathalyzer, but drunks have learned to teach themselves certain skills like reciting the alphabet backwards and stepping in a straight line into muscle memory to dupe the tests, (when that does happen its likely the breathalyzer will be used after). Take this for an example, people say its fake but this is an actual occurrence that happened in Canada, and it was shown in a drivers ed class I attended: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJDEkHakapt0oqM Its hilarious.
@svenasmussen87452 жыл бұрын
@@paulofernando7898 Yeah I have no idea why they use it when theres breathalisers readily available for purchase. The price surely cant be it, the police in USA are quite well funded, and those plastic tubes really cant be that expensive can they, if you buy them in bulk. I feel like they just use FST to be able to arrest people when they feel like they are drunk driving without actually having to test it. I mean it takes quite a while and they get payed to stand there and watch the driver do it

Edit: Due to all the replies I’ve decided to ask for some help. Can someone please explain to me all the fuss around the word “beta”? Its a scientific term used to describe a certain type of behavior. It applies to wolves, lions, and almost every type of primate and monkey. I didn’t invent the term and I don’t understand how words like “cringe”, “ironic”, or “thinking its real” are being applied to describe the word beta? Are we thinking of two different definitions or something? Can someone please explain to me because I genuinely have no idea what all these replies are complaining about.

Ngl i know some people who act this way but this has been my experience with a lot of woke people as a poc. They preach it but then you can tell how they truly feel by the way they talk and its always either "it benefits me or makes me look good" or "i gotta overcompensate for what i said in that 1 xbox match 15 years ago"
@AIRFGC2 жыл бұрын
law of attraction, they project their racism on other people and call them out to atone for it, if you're always thinking racist thoughts, you'll see people acting out racism, it's like people who cheat on significant others think everything the other does is a sign of their infidelity
@bluepurplepink2 жыл бұрын
‘My personal experience says socially progressive people suck’ please go out and meet people that are not socially progressive for show. You get people like the lady in the video when you pretend to be progressive but are highly racist in reality. Your personal experiences are anecdotes and most people who believe in social justice for example, are not like the lady. Expand your horizons and look beyond your biases. Generalizing millions based on a handful of experiences is like saying all white people are horrible because I read up on WW2. Neither is true or makes sense. -fellow POC
@bluepurplepink2 жыл бұрын
@@AIRFGC actually braindead take. The so called law of attraction is a logical fallacy by that logic. The woman was literally claimed by no one progressive. If you truly think that you can get rid of racism by not thinking about it, you are the problem. It’s like having cancer and being like, let me not think about it. Thinking about the consequences of racism doesn’t mean you are racist. Not acknowledging there is racism is you being complicit in racism. Conservatives are some of the most racist people on the planet, and being in denial of that is pure delusional.

@@bluepurplepink I hear ya bub and I never said all socially progressive people suck. I just said from my experiences (living in cali with my grandparents, living in oregon and then living in midwest indiana when I was younger). I'd say about half of my experiences though with woke people (woke people don't care about context and just say whats "progresssive" w/o even knowing what they are arguing. Progressives actually understand and aren't just "I hate you cause you don't see it the way I do". I also try to look beyond my biases. However I lack to see how my bias is a problem here. I mention it was in my experiences. You were the one who changed my words to say all progressives instead of a lot of woke people. You also assumed I needed to go out and meet more people. Which I don't wanna toot my own horn but I've been around a good bit and usual the people who care more about me as a person than what I look like is in the midwest (though times have changed I can personally say that most of my time living has been in cali and indiana and nobody in indiana has even been derogatory to me. However in California I got called slurs pretty much every other week.) again everybody has their own experiences and I don't think either side (left, right) sucks, but I dislike this "your this colour, so that means everybody hates you. So we hate them and have to defend you" it always becomes this team game "him/her" "white/everyother race" "left/right" and it always becomes worse. kinda like the violence creates violence sorta thing. The best way to end racism/sexism is to stop treating it like its a social issue and treat it like the systemic problem it is. P.S. sorry for the long message I just don't check reply's so I wanted to get the point across, though read it a few times w/o thinking I'm attacking anybody
