Thank YOU so much maa for today's fabulous session! One more chapter down! Incredibly grateful that you followed through on the doubts and recapped those for me. Had found them (pollenkitt being secreted by tapetum & tapetum producing ubisch bodies) in last year's notes made live with you, and despite being able to kind of fill in the gaps using those, I asked since there is just something about the assurance of a teacher and how you explain it that it leaves no more room for doubt❤ Another two little questions that remain about Tapetum are - 1. Which tapetum can be called coenocytic (formed as a result of multiple nuclear divisions not followed by cytokinesis) and which one can be called a syncytium (formed by aggregation of multiple cells' cytoplasm due to dissolution of cell membranes) out of the two types - Plasmodial and Glandular Tapetum? 2. Does Tapetum secrete Callase, which dissolves the layer of Callose which is the substance that holds together the four microspores of a pollen tetrad? Finally, was wondering if you'd be able to make time while you're in Delhi and if it would be possible to see you in person, like you'd talked about in class a while back. Apart from it being a chance for me to share all the many thoughts in my brain (which the kid in me only feels safe trusting few with, and somehow over the course of these years I've found exactly that in you - a trusted guru, mentor, sisterly-figure and so much more), I had also very importantly made a little something for you which I'd really like for you to have. Would be super grateful! 🥰
