Hey I'm the Guitarist of the Sadistic Slobs, we were offered the slot after we heard about horror headstones pulling out, we already had our equipment down cause we had a gig at the Tache Club, we couldn't say no to the slot plus we've played with the headstone horrors a few months ago with GBH.

@@DaveViner thank you! Was our second time playing Rebellion. If you were down for the full weekend you probably saw Choking Susan on the same stage the next day, I was standing in on bass for them on their UK tour.

That's really awesome. Well done! I didn't catch Choking Susan, unfortunately. I can't remember who played what days, but we had to bail early on Sunday as we had a pretty long drive ahead of us lol.

Glad you enjoyed Rebellion. I’ve been into punk since I was about 12 thanks to my older brother I’m 59 now haha. I’ve been to about 20+ Rebellion/Holidays in the Sun festivals. It’s always a great vibe and the chance to see some brilliant live bands. For the 4 days it’s a real party always really enjoyed them. There’s always the usual naysayers about it’s a sellout etc etc to me it’s by far the best festival. I have to be honest though this year although really good was not one of the strongest line ups there’s been but still great nonetheless. Cheers

I thought it was great, I thought the 2023 looked amazing, so I was apprehensive about this year as there were hardly any bands that I had heard of, but I really enjoyed going in blind and just watching whoever was playing. I've done a lot of bigger festivals in the past, but this was probably my favourite. The vibe, the people, and the venue were fantastic.

Yeah its always a good vibe definitely the line ups are slightly better some years. 0:07 I went to Download this year first time, I enjoyed it but prefer Rebellion. Download is just too big and so expensive plus I hate the card only payment aspect. God knows what Glastonbury must be like. One of my boys tour manages lots of bands so goes Glastonbury every year not for me though.

@TheFairway8 Yes, Download is cool but very large and very messy (I was pleasantly surprised with how clean rebellion was!). I can only imagine what Glastonbury is like 😬
