Nice! Still happy with the sprocket/ rotor gaurd combo 1 year later?

They are pretty nice and definitely absorb more impact than a metal one would

@@trailblogger thank you, yea I bent my aluminum one yesterday. Feeling ripped off being that it only took roughly 3 shots from rocks that honestly were not big but unfortunately unavoidable. I'm most likely going to give DRW a try. Appreciate the response and info!

ABSOLUTELY NOT GOOD ENOUGH ... ! ALTHOUGH BETTER THAN NOTHING AT ALL ... THESE ARE STILL RIDICULOUS ! AND SORRY EXCUSES FOR REAR END COMPONENT PROTECTION ... ! YOU ALWAYS ... ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS ... ! USE AND INSTALL FULL COVERAGE AND FULL PROTECTION REAL SKID PLATES ON ALL 3 WHEELERS AND QUADS ! GUADS ALSO NEED UNDER A ARMS SKID PLATES TOO ! AND COMPLETE AND FULL COVERAGE SKID PLATES UNDER ENTIRE FRAME FROM FRONT TO BACK ... ! AND ... YOU ALWAYS USE FULL COVERAGE / PROTECTION SKID PLATE UNDER WHOLE REAR SWINGARM / SUSPENSION LINKAGE ... CHAIN / SPROCKET , SHAFT DIFF HOUSING ... AND REAR BRAKE DISC / DRUM ... ! LEAVE NOTHING EXPOSED AND VULNERABLE AND TO CHANCE ... ! ! BE IT ... PLASTIC , ALUMINUM , OR STEEL ... ! BUT ALWAYS USE FULL COVERAGE / FULL PROTECTION AND REAL SKID PLATES ALL UNDERNEATH EVERYTHING ON 3 WHEELERS AND QUADS ... ! ALWAYS USE FULL COVERAGE UNDER ENGINE AND UNDER BIG FAT 2 STROKE EXHAUST PIPES ON 3 WHEELERS TOO ... ! USE YOUR BRAIN ... ! THINK AND PLAN FOR THE WORST ... ! ROUGH AND ROCKY / STUMPY WOODS AND TRAILS RIDING ... ! NECESSITATES REAL FULL COVERAGE AND FULL PROTECTION ENTIRE UNDERCARRIAGE / UNDERBELLY SKID PLATES ! ... YOU NEED EVERYTHING UNDERNEATH ALL MACHINES COMPLETELY COVERED AND COMPLETELY PROTECTED ! AT ALL TIMES ... ! THAT WAY ... YOU CAN CONFIDENTLY RIPP ACROSS AND THROUGH ANY ROUGH AND ROCKY / STUMPY TERRAIN AND WOODS / TRAILS ... ! WITHOUT ANY SCRATCHED / DENTED OR BUSTED FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION / UNDERCARRIAGE AND REAR END DRIVELINE AND BRAKE COMPONENTS ! ... I LEARNED AND KNEW THE TRUE IMPORTANCE AND NECESSITY OF ALL OF THIS SINCE I WAS ONLY 9 - 10 YEARS OLD ... !

Looking at getting some DRW goodies over the winter for the Raptors!!!
@DawidSlodyczka3 жыл бұрын
Honestly why didn't you buy just a metal skid plate for your swing arm? I bought full skid plates,(including swing arm) for my '20 raptor bc the trails I take. Getting bigger rear tires definitely helps the quad even by a few inches. I know I'm getting bigger tires for sure just bc how many rocks were hitting my skid plate swing arm so damn much.
@trailblogger3 жыл бұрын
i dont care for the metal skid plates. they get hung up
@DawidSlodyczka3 жыл бұрын
@@trailblogger, that I can agree. These stock rear tires with the skid plates do like to get hung up alot. Thats why I'm getting bigger rear tires.
@trailblogger3 жыл бұрын
i have a set of 22s i run sometimes. the clearance is great but they are heavier and more clumsy. for messing around my yard i leave the stock wheels on. DRW sells a full poly skid plate setup i'd love to get. the metal style kind always get hung up on the rocks so i run without it

I've always been a fan of aluminum skid plates, but might look into this to save weight.

The rotor guard makes the caliper stick what's the solution
@trailblogger3 жыл бұрын
is it rubbing on the rotor? or is the caliper out of alignment? take a pocket kmife or a dremel and just whittle a down a little here or there if needed.
@969Garage3 жыл бұрын
Does your rotor guard have a 1/4 inch of play if you pull on it?
