Dr. Li. I'm very sick with so many illnesses. I just came across your videos and now I'm binging on them day and almost all night. I cant get enough of your knowledge! I am so thankful for you! I can’t get enough of you and your knowledge. I’ve been binging your media. In college in the 80s I was premed, (loved organic, biochem and physiology) but was fascinated with what was considered alternative medicine: nutrition, herbal medicine, Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. I’ve been on the path for most of my life, my grandfather was an organic farmer. Both my grandparents lived into their mid 90s and were not on any medications! I made a commitment to 100% organic in 1996 when I was pregnant with my first child. Your information is so affirming and inspiring! I eventually settled on critical care nursing and am struggling to help my patients. It’s daunting attempting to provide healthy lifestyle education to people struggling to exist. Your food is medicine is so accessible. Would love to put your videos on the Patient Education channel instead of the antiquated preprogramming we have! Hint hint! Talk about making a difference! Thanks again!

I have a perpetual organic garden in the mountains of Ecuador. I estimate that I grow 300 heads each of broccoli and cauliflower, and 200 each of purple and green cabbage per year. Of course, I can’t eat them all. We share far and wide with friends and neighbors and a lot of the cabbage goes to our chickens, ducks and geese.

Hard to know what is what. Some doctors say don't eat any nightshade foods because they cause inflammation such as tomatoes. The Mediterranean diet uses tomatoes in everything. Other ppl say to not eat Broccoli or foods from that family because it's man made. At this point it seems like we should not be eating anything. Does air have nutrients in it? Just kidding. Oh yes, don't forget those dang Legumes that are messing up our gut. I have your book by the way. I also have Dr. Gundry's book so I'm confused to say the least.

This doc/scientist is the real deal. He has been heavily involved in research For decades. What i love with him, especially being a medical doctor myself is how he explains the pathophysiology and biochemistry of how the bioactives work on the cellular level. When u understand the “why” and “how”, one will be more inclined to to listen and apply it to your lifestyle changes. Dr. William W. Li is a world-renowned speaker, physician, scientist, and New York Times Best-selling author and the Amazon #1 best-seller Eat to Beat Disease. An international expert on health and disease fighting based on diet, lifestyle, and treatments that keep the body’s blood vessels in balance, he is CEO and President of the global nonprofit Angiogenesis Foundation. Agree! This person says this that person says that. It's a crap shoot! Just do your own research and come to your conclusions. Only you know your health and how your body works. Bottom line, when it's your time to be with the Lord then all this is irrelevant. People are shooting for views and good content (things people want to hear) brings more viewers which equals revenue.

I used to eat green beans regularly but I haven't lately. Thanks for the reminder to start eating them again! BTW for Thanksgiving instead of green bean casserole I do fresh green beans. Cook them in boiling water for a few minutes put them in a bowl or on a little platter and squeeze on lemon juice. Delicious and so nice to have something so fresh on your holiday plate. To dress them up can also crumble some feta and add some toasted slivered almonds. Yum!

Tell that to all the innocent creatures who suffer horribly. If this god of yours is so good, why did it create a system of predation, whereby we can survive only by killing? Ever seen footage of a frantic elephant mother trying unsuccessfully to protect her terrified month-old calf from lion attack? Violent death, starvation, disease. This is the work of your god. One long raspberry. (Of course I don't believe in your god or any other.)

My understanding is that itc will be formed only when you cut or chew or injure the vegetable. You need to wait about 45 minutes after cutting before you cook or expose the vegetable to heat for the itc like sulforaphane to form. Once you blanch the vegetable the myrosinase will be destroyed and the itc will not be able to be produced.

I was recently surprised to learn the powerful nutrition within the green bean. It just looks so lowly and simple with not much taste that I had written it off as healthy. 😂 Wrong again! 🤣🤣

San Marzano tomatoes are what they are because of the soil in which they are grown. They are NOT the same when grown in other locations, such as my garden. I seriously doubt that they have the same nutrition when grown in other locations. Green beans are also high in silica, which is necessary for hair growth.
