I’ve actually always wanted to have a koopaling game. When I was a lot younger, I came up with an idea for one. It was basically a sequel to mario bros U. After the airship broke and everyone was going back to bowser’s castle, mario found kemak’s wand in peach’s castle. He uses it to capture bowser and bowser jr and fling the koopaling back to acorn plains. The game would be similar to super luigi U with the same map but different levels. You would play as one of the koopalings (or however many players there were) and try to get back to peach’s castle to save bowser. The bosses would be character such as toad Yoshi and other good mario characters. And final boss being mario. The koopalings all had different abilities kinda like the characters in mario 3d world. Larry was well balanced, Roy was slightly slower, but he had a powerful ground pound that could knock out enemies next to him, lemmy could jump highest but he was a bit harder to control (because of the circus balls) Wendy could swim fastest and not slip on ice, iggy could run fastest, Morton wouldn’t be able to jump as high but he had a more powerful ground pound then toy, and Ludwig was slower but he could flutter jump. It would be cool to see Super Koopalings Switch an actual game, but it’s just a dream. For now...

Yeah I agree, the Koopalings should have their own game. I think in the game you would have to try to capture Peach. Each World would be different floors of the castle. And the bosses would be the Toad guards. And the final boss would be Mario, where after you capture Peach he will chase you trying to save Peach. You would have to get Peach to Bowser's wedding room in the airship, while Mario chases you trying to rescue Peach. Mario becomes more difficult as you go on, he collects different types of power-ups causing more danger. Does that sound good for a Koopaling game?

A Koopalings game sounds like a great idea. I would love to see it happen regardless if it's cannon to the main Mario series or not. The Koopalings are very unique in their own which way. They look like the type of characters to have their very own title. Come on Nintendo, it's time for something new! Maybe the Koopalings can have their own individual stories. For example: You can select which Koopaling you want to play first and stick with him/her until the very end. Similar to Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, where you can choose which character you want to play as first.

I'd play this! Funny thing is, in the Paper Mario Universe, Larry actually has his own game! In Super Paper Mario, in level 3-4, you can find the wishlist of a nerdy chameleon named Francis. Most of the things on it are references to other games. One of the items on the list is a survival horror/romance sim titled "Larry Koopa: Zombie Heartbreaker".

Another idea is the option to select a Koopaling to play as before starting a level and swapping Koopalings at special stations during levels. This will open up multiple secret zones and alternate paths that require a different Koopaling for each one.

This would be a truly *wonderful* and endearing game to play. I personally think since Lemmy is almost-unanimously considered the best and sweetest Koopaling, he oughta be the main character in terms of story/plot - with Iggy and Larry tied for second in terms of supporting characters, yet all 7 get their fair share the gameplay. OR... do a "Story Mode" that gives each Koopaling their own little storyline (a la Yoshi's Story/Magical Tetris Challenge) to follow, and just have the gameplay encourage players to eventually do all 7. Let the player decide what Koopaling they want to play with from the get-go could open up an endless realm of possibilities. Seriously, I have no doubt in my mind that the Koopalings can hold their own spin-off game... in fact, to be personally honest, I've adored the Koopalings for so many years, I don't even see them as "villains", and I'm sure I'm not alone there. That's ancient history - Nintendo would be making an instant gaming classic if they'd put Iggy, Morton, Lemmy, Ludwig, Roy, Wendy and Larry front and center for at least ONE game title for fans who love them. Anyway, let's keep our fingers crossed.... hope it happens!

Maybe for the Koopalings game, the group could try to conquer a land without being asked to do so, due to wanting to get out of Bowser Jr.'s shadow, since he's Bowser's new favorite? Maybe they were adopted by Bowser way back, and when Bowser got a real flesh and blood son(my belief is through a ritual Kamek managed to pull off), they've been left to the wayside.

I really like the Koopa family. I would like to see more development from them. I always see the Koopalings after Miyamoto's statement as not being related to Bowser by blood but Bowser being the kind leader he is to his people saw the Koopalings as orphans and chose to became their "father" to raise them to be one of his own hoping they would help his actual son in his goals. That's my theory anyway. Bowser is to the Koopalings like Kamek was to him. Not an actual parent but an adoptive one.

Larry’s 3 super moves. 1: pulling out a grenade & throw it to his enemy & will explode right when it hits the ground. 2: hops to the enemy & hopping onto a flying rocket & opens it to make it start firing smaller rockets that have been lit inside the rocket. & 3: pulling out 2 rocket launchers while Holding them in his hands, one in one hand & the other in the other hand, & then rocket launcher 1 fires a rocket at the enemy & rocket launcher 2 does the same thing after rocket launcher 1. Ludwig’s most famous new custom attack would have to be the fire beam attack, where Ludwig inhales the enemy & then exhales giant flames onto them. If the player was playing as Ludwig & decided to tap B once Ludwig will jump but if they decided to double-tap B Ludwig will double-jump but if the player decided to triple-tap B Ludwig will jump twice & then start floating in the air, if the player moves Ludwig in the air Ludwig will start flying but if the player lowers Ludwig down to the ground Ludwig will stop flying. Ludwig’s gliding animation would be flutter jumping down to the ground. Ludwig’s super move would be sending 2 clones of himself to slaughter the enemies he is fighting against the enemies will start to run away & the 2 Ludwig clones will start chasing them. Ludwig’s other super move would be cursing all the enemies he is fighting against with cyan skulls swarming them. once the skulls start swarming the enemies, the enemies will scream & run away.

My thoughts of how Ludwig would play is more on the magic spectrum. In Hotel Mario, he can teleport and shoot lightning out of his wand. Perhaps maybe have that sort of power into the game.

Iggy would perhaps be more of a mechanical one, In the Nintendo Adventure Books, Iggy is portrayed as an inventor. Maybe Iggy would use machinery to progress.

Morton would still be the strength type, but he would be somewhat different. He can perhaps have Wario's shoulder dash and maybe roll. The climbing idea would most likely go to Roy.

Lemmy would be played with using his balls (Get your head out of the gutter). You know how Yoshi played? He could be just like that, but with different types of balls. Bomb balls would act as his bombs from U, shell balls to enter and become the ball, even have a "fire" ball that can melt ice and harm enemies.

Some of these ideas are pretty good ngl. But I did have this one idea which I'm not sure if it would be interesting but i was thinking of a 3D platforming beat em up game starring the koopalings. But of course it's not going to be slow speeded (Otherwise it would become very boring and repetitive) it's going to be somewhat fast paced (so it also wouldn't be too hard to control). And I was thinking that there would be a character select screen before a level starts and each of the koopalings have their very own weapons, strengths, as well as weaknesses. Bowser Jr's weapon would be his trademark paintbrush and he interacts with different paint colors that gives his brush different elements (like fire, ice, electricity, and poison). While I'm not sure about Larry or Lemmy's weapon, but the other koopalings would use the weapons that they had in NSMBU. And during in some of the levels they have a power meter and when full will activate a super that makes them more powerful (for a limited time of course). And some of the levels are in worlds that were in other games or maybe new worlds. And each of the world's have bosses at the end (some familiar faces and some new). But I was also thinking that it could be another way to expand the Mario universe forward with new worlds and new characters (kind of like what paper mario as well as the mario & luigi series did). But yet I'm not sure if it's any good. But just reiterate, this idea is basically a koopalings beat em up game (except it wouldn't be repetitive as well as being boring)

Here are the moves they could have Basic: Jump Shell slide dash Magic wand blast Unique y button ability Each of them have 2 extra abilities: Larry: magic blasts ricochet, y button shoots a small ball that pierces enemies Mortan: magic blasts is a slow moving spike ball, y button is a hammer that destroy blocks and knocks enemies back Wendy: magic blasts are up to three rings that don't do damage but bounces entities off, y button allows her to skate on land that leaves a trail of snow that freezes enemies Iggy: fires 2 magic blasts at a time, y button is a magic blast that turns blocks into friendly chain chomp Roy: magic wand is a bullet bill launcher, y button is a rapid fire more that launches you back a bit after every shot Lemmy: magic blasts is a rubber ball that lemmy can jump on, y button is a small bomb with a high arc that explodes on contact Ludwig: flutter jump, y button summons up to 2 clones that attack enemies

Given that the Koopalings used to be portrayed as Bowser's kids and now aren't, my guess was always that Bowser disinherited Ludwig when Bowser Jr. was born. That's why Ludwig is the most overpowered of the Koopalings; he's constantly learning new tricks and techniques so that one day he can overthrow Bowser Jr. [and possibly Bowser as well] and claim the throne. But hey, that's just a theory. A KOOPALING theory!

I would say Boom boom, Pom pom, and Kamek. Kamek could have a special item: his broom.He can also destroy blocks.Boom boom can do extra damage.Pom pom can throw her boomerang\shuriken and clone herself.Bowser jr. would not work as well.

Well, we have one where you play as Bowser Jr as you can create a army, you can also have first officers. Also, The Koopalings can be selective first officers. Edit: It comes with Mario and Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story for the Nintendo 3Ds so like.

I've always thought a cool idea for a koopalings game would be to start with a cut scene of mario battling bowser on an airship to save peach. Kamek would get knocked out and boom boom would pick up kamek's wand and betray bowser trapping both him and mario in cages. Larry would stand up to boom boom and get knocked off the airship. The other koopalings would be hypnotized via the magic wand. You would play as Larry and save the other koopalings one by one so you can defeat boom boom and save bowser.

That could be an honestly amazing game! Nintendo, please MAKE THIS HAPPEN! I even have an idea for the plot for it: Smithy (The main villain from 'Super Mario RPG') returns, captures Bowser, and attempts again to conquer the Mushroom Kingdom. Mario and co. are away on vacation, and thus can't help. Bowser Jr. is soon captured too, but not before he's able to send a message for help to his friends the Koopalings. So, it's up to the Koopalings to stop Smithy, save the whole world, and prove that they're not the incompetent losers that everyone likely thinks they are. They'd of course each have their own unique moves and attacks (i.e. Roy's attacks would mainly rely on his physical strength and that bazooka- thing, Wendy would use her rings/ bracelets in various ways in battle like she often does in her boss fights in past games, I'd picture Iggy's attacks being more tech- based including using the chain- chomps, Lemmy could use his trusty ball in various ways, and so on), and funny interactions with each other, plus at least one surprisingly poignant "You're my family, and I love you all" type of moment.

I was thinking more of a turn based strategy game for taking over those kingdoms in the vein of fire emblem. It might sound strange but if Mario can be combined with Final Fantasy then why not Fire Emblem?

Bowser Jr. Should be in the game but as a power up where he can stomp on the ground and stun apponents. But he should be an ultra rare power up.
