For the record, I'm a bit puzzled by your tracking abilities to discern Bliss's hoofprints from anypony's elses. Especially since she didn't go through the town but rather in the opposite direction of where your characters were into the desert, seeing you just remarked she went into the desert before trying to track her down. Plus, you have a bazooka, which beehives are weak against.

Lightning Bliss, I think you may want to look at that dragon transformation spell Aeon gave you for your Gauntlet of Fire (I thought is was Dragon Quest because dragons were major characters were a focus of both episodes; my derp) Review. It may have had some fine print that trigger it when you get angry/wrathful or just plain dragon-like and Thunder Blight doesn't emerge.

I was thinking that Bliss's super form would probably be a dragon. She did a review of the episode, Gauntlet of Fire. I think in that review she turned into a dragon.
