I envy your story telling skills...good stuff, great vid. One of the coolest things that KZbin brings to the table is connecting other passionate fly fishers from all over the world.

Rolf, I think I speak for the community when I say, PLEASE WE NEEEEEEED A NEW VIDEO!!! No pressure or anything, it’s just that life always seems a bit better when you post one of your videos. It’d even be great if it was a backyard creek fishing video, or exploring a local forest. Love from North Carolina!

Such a cool film! It reminded me of being a 14 year old in the Spanish Pyrenees armed with a fly rod but with no trout fishing available for a junior. Then I discovered Spanish barbel and big dry flies 😊. Awesome film man!!!!!

Your films make me frustrated with the rest of it all. Thanks! Where I live, and where I grew up, blind fishing=fishing. Sight fishing and casting to rising trout is like a fun treat.

Rolf, when you said, “snake talk” I burst into uncontrollable laughter until tears ran down my face. Sooooo funny. I grew up fishing and hunting in the mountains of the American west and I hated snakes too. I had some close calls. Your films are the best. I hope I never forget your line, “snake talk.”

Gosh that was lovely. The fishing started as a bit of a challenge but then became screaming reels and laughing - those golden fish were so obliging! You met some warm and welcoming people too, isn’t fishing great? Beautiful editing as always. I particularly loved the sequence of Håvard missing a fish on the strike with the quick cut to the donkey braying…😂
