I've always wondered what it would feel like to get a needle in this area. Its the most sensitive area in my body. I've had reoccurring irritation in this area for over a decade now. It feels like there's a boogie monster in the form of a trigger point that won't go away. I can get it to twitch just by squeezing it with my thumb and index. I'm constantly stretching and grabbing at it. Its almost like a daily thing I've had so much scar tissue and inflammation over the years there from over massaging/stretching Interestingly enough I've found not massaging and touching it produced the most long term pain relief.

That is really dependant on the patient in front of you, the presenting condition, your treatment aims, and clinical reasoning. I can't give a straight forward answer to that I'm afraid.
