Dry Needling: Tensor Fascia Latae

Hi Tim. What's the indication for dry needling the TFL? Is it an effective treatment for soreness (possibly tendinitis) at the iliac crest?

Once a twitch response has been elicited take the needle out. Why do we wait for a twitch response to take the needle out?

Hi what length needle are you using

Hi Elissa, in this video I've used a 30mm needle, but that could vary depending on the body type you are working with. If there's a little more adipose tissue, you may need to use a 40mm needle to get down to the muscle belly.
