If you think about it, this game is kinda like life, you may have an ideal outcome about things but most of the time, you can only improvise and be optimistic with what you get. It also shows that being successful is more of being able to make things work despite things not going your way.

Literally learned how to transition today and have won 2 out of my 3 games. It’s insanely helpful. Usually what I have learned is that transitioning into either elementalists + rangers 2 glacials, 4 glacials + rangers, or draven hyper carry + imperialists knights / glacials with frost mallet is the easiest and most common transition that ends with insanely good results. Things like demons are way too unreliable for me and sorcerors are way too hard to get or win with (due to the lack of tanks)

It was due to this guide that I just won my two rank games back to back and was promoted to S4...It's not the RNG guys...it really is about your strategy and decision making skills. Learning how to transition was a GAME changer...after this guide, I now don't rush for that 6 man comp...my end synergy is usually a mix of synergies (usually just the tier 1 synergy).

Awesome video, thank you! This was very helpful. - I wouldn't mind seeing a video on item usage next - when to hold, the best time to start combining without sacrificing options if you can't build the comp you are working toward, whether you should lean on defense or damage first, scenarios like should you build Guinsoo's to get your ADC going or use the Rod for a Locket instead, - - and if you are feeling ambitious maybe a section for what items synergize well with certain champions.

@@kai-xuanyao4666 The carry doesn't need to be a sorcerer itself since sorcs is a teamwide buff. The most common non-Sorc carries in this situation are probably Varus and Brand. If you can make a Yuumi this is even better because it avoids you having to run bad/underleveled units, and Sorcs passive doubling mana gain is very strong on Varus and the like.
@kai-xuanyao46665 жыл бұрын
@@KyussTheWalkingWorm Yeah Varus is pretty decent. Brand i feel like is worse than Asol right now after the mana nerf, and he's even more contested because of the elementalist players. I've seen people use aatrox but as a melee he isn't very reliable.

Another amazing video, easily the best TFT guides being made rn. I constantly hear people saying they're getting shafted by not finding the 4 cost units they need, and I've definitely lost games to sinking all of my gold into a comp that I've felt locked into by the rest of my units. I definitely need to be more open to slightly janky synergies that combine different frontlines/backlines, I'll definitely be using the tips in this video in the future. Also for further videos I'd love to see a guide on how to use items early before you've locked into the comp you're running (I find it difficult to balance getting the early game power to not lose while not combining into items that aren't relevant to the comp I end up with mid-late game). Also more patch rundown videos

Awesome guide. My greatest weakness in TFT is tunneling for a specific, perfect comp and this guide was desperately needed because I had no idea how to salvage the game after I don't get the right pieces. I would have loved to see at least a very short segment on how to think about items in regards to pivoting in case your comp ends up focusing on champs that use different items then the ones you have built for the comp you thought you were gonna go, but the guide has plenty of information to chew on in the meantime so it's not a big complaint. Keep up the awesome guides my man.

Thanks for the content! Here are two topics I would love to see covered in a video: Making RNG work for you (buying out champs you don't want of a particular level unit, what levels to roll for what units, do buy units to fit your items or adapt your items to fit your comp, etc...) Playing off of your opponents (how many is too many of the same comp in a game, how early to roll into a comp to beat out other people building the same thing, common responses to common threats, etc...)

Or when is it reasonable to start trying to counter opponents board placement by moving around your own units? Thanks boi boi!

8:06 is literally what made me win my first match before I’ve seen this video. I was so focused on 6 yordles and searching really hard for them but then I got a brand and I pivoted to allow him in my yordles comp and relaxing off the perfect comp made me win.

Thank you for these guides. I feel like I’ve learned a lot. In my latest game I started with Ahri, wanting to build into a sorcerer. Then I started getting wilds, so I decided to build around them instead. Then, I settled for shapeshifters when I started gaining a lot of those. It got to the point. I had a three star Shyvana with a two star Aurelion as a support. To top it all off, I even got Swain so I could gain the complete shapeshifter comp. But I never did complete it, because I won too soon😊. Bottomline: I couldn’t have done this without your guidance, so thank you.

@Alexander-vg5qf5 жыл бұрын
It heavily depends on synergies and the champs you are picking as well as the items, for example, fiora as a 1$ unit is... bad, but if you use it for a synergy (even if it is a minor one, such as noble 3 or blademasters, then it can be worth keeping conoared to a higher stat more costly unit. But ignoring suynergies... depends on the champ, nidalee is a good unit by itself at 1 cost when 2-star or 3-star, and may do more stat-wise than... idk, leona for example, but there are also pieces such as brand, draven or ashe that could be better than the low cost units
@aliasbrush25 жыл бұрын
I think that's far too complicated to break down due to all the factors that affect it. For example, a 2* unit is almost always better than any 1* unit in a very small comp (3-5 champs) because they are tougher, hit harder, etc. However, later on when there are many more champs on the field, a 1* unit that can CC a lot of units suddenly becomes a lot more powerful because of its utility. Now when Cho'Gath ults, he could easily knock up and disrupt 5 units instead of 2-3, whereas that 2* Vayne can still only hit one champ at a time (and cause no disruption). Then you need to think about what else they are adding. How do they fit with the other champs? If you have a tough front line, that 1* Jinx (+items) has a much higher chance of surviving long enough to turn into a hyper-carry, yet she can still get one-shotted by a 2* assassin or squished by an AoE that wasn't even targeting her. Champions like Yasuo or any ninja also get special perks that make them more effective than an ordinary unit, and so are worth a lot more in any comp. (I personally think a 1* Yasuo is about as powerful as an average 2* tier three champ, due to his bonus health, AS, and AoE utility). Some late game champs don't need the extra damage from being 2* because of the utility they provide. Kayle still has a super-fast attack speed at 1*, so as long as she's in the back line she can still spam her ult and use on-hit procs better than lower tier champs. And finally, you need to consider what champs are in the meta, and who's recently been buffed/nerfed. At the time of writing, Evelyn is so powerful (even at 1*) she's almost broken. She's arguably stronger than many tier-4 champs.
