hm. so my issue is not the fan belt. there's something causing the working drum to slow down to a full stop. it's like something's getting wedged between the drum and housing -will check the drum belt vid 🙌ty for these vids! love magic chef stuff

There is a felt gasket between the front edge of the drum and the interior wall of the cabinet. That may be the issue.

I have the fan belt, and it is a little small. Can you heat the belt a little to stretch the belt?

Heating the belt is not advisable. What model dryer, and what is the belt part number?

@@MagicChefUSA i didn't need to heat it. I got it on . It is quieter than when I first got the thing. Works great

Had this 1.5 cubic foot dryer a little over a year, and blower belt broke. Video was very helpful

You never actually remove the belt in this video!!! then you replace it with the belt which is already there. How do I get a new belt in?????

The belt has to be installed by disassembling the support beam. First the top, remove screws, slide belt past beam, reconnect. Repeat on bottom. Thank you
