I’ve been running drytron and it’s insane. 80% of the time you full combo turn one. If you open with instant fusion or called by it’s straight overkill. God hand is apollousa for 4, herald with 4-5 negates, and a droplet face down…

Dark ruler, mystic mine what do you do ?

Mystic mine plays in drytrons hands, they can't kill us that turn because dark ruler and any other attempt will make negates live, you only have 4 cards left in hand vs 2 monster negates in hand (orange) plus another possible handtrap and very good grind. Even if you break the board completely stalling with mine is only good if your deck can otk easily through multiple interruptions, at which point your deck will suffer from other weaknesses which probably won't let you compete with drytron in the first place

@@grovesy333 dark ruler still two monster negates in hand off the two oranges, and mine gets negated no question. After turn one if they mine the following turns they get it because no in deck outs. But that’s only when the match turns to top decking. Which is fun Yugioh.

The only realistic hit is Eva to one and maybe nova to 1 at some point. Drytron is a fair best deck. It’s very similar to danger thunder in 2019. Ironically with striker and salad returning and tribrigade is orcust

Using imperm on mu beta and diviner hurts quite a lot and are probably the best places to hit the deck besides droll and nibiru.

@@righteousflame5030 cycle reader, droll, and effect veiler/imperm, and ghost belle. Those all do a good job. Scary thing is though that drytron runs instant fusion and called by and have inherit monster negates in hand with orange lights. So you just have to time the hand traps right.

The deck is susceptible to handtraps most of the time. Can't open orange light or called by the grave every time. Imperm on mu beta/diviner, ghost belle on gamma hand effect, droll on first search, cycle reader, nibiru, even lancea hurts a little bit as we cant use eva for a turn. it has some weaknesses. But ways to stop them.

Yeah I don’t think it will get hit Konami likes to sell product and all the drytron stuff has been spiking. Same with sky striker. They know how to market. They let dragon link run the format for ages.

@@TheWiseguysTCG This is true. Eva is the reason we have up to 6 negates on our opponents turn. The drytron engine is fair. And the fairy engine is kinda fair as well. Its just eva that enables the massive negates imo.
