Oh, no way, he’s doing it wrong. Suppose to fall down occasionally on the stilts, the mud should fall off the ceiling and collect on the floor and his clothing, he has not cussed and don’t look fatigued at all. And worst of all, who ever has to come behind him and sand it down is being treated way to good and may have problems finding another job.

Hey I've always done it with hand tools and I'm looking to get into the tools like flushed and what not but I'm trying to get as much know-how as I can before I invest in the tools. So the tool you are using to spread the mud in the corner, that's different from the tool you use to flatten the tape in the corner after you use the roller, right? The one after the roller is a flusher? Or is that what the head you are using is called?
@rodjames1693
@rodjames1693 4 жыл бұрын
1st the tape will be applied with a banjo or bazooka...then they are using a compound tube with an angle head similar to the flusher but with 3 holes in it....lastly...the flusher head is used to squeeze out excess mud.
@shevinsacrey5862
@shevinsacrey5862 4 жыл бұрын
I understand as far as the banjo or bazooka and then using the compound tube to apply the mud. My question is, is there a difference between the angle head used to squeeze the mud out after taping, and the angle head used to spread the mud after using the compound tube. As far as I know they are different aren't they? One is a flusher head and one is an angle head?

Why do these guys put up videos of them doing the job all wrong. you never coat your seams and butts before you tape your angles and those gaps wall-to-ceiling are ridiculous. If you're going to put a video do it right. And who spots there screws one at a time. and how many times seriously are you going to wipe that but joint I could have done 3 by the time you finish that one.
