I was 11 years old when Dark Shadows first appeared on TV. I loved it then and still do...but I am dumbfounded as to why they continued to make such obvious technical mistakes: off-screen noises, shadows of the boom/microphones, cameras visible in scenes, etc. I would think they'd get a grasp on these problems, but they continued...

Kat MacKay maybe not. earlier he mentioned that the police didn't deserve the truth, but he did. maybe something similar applies here too. he knew he was suspicious, but didn't think it went to the supernatural level and wanted to take care of the situation himself as the man.
