The 7 has bass extension (of course) but the 5 is more punchy but at the cost of being to muddled / busy in the midrange.

Havent heard the neumanns but the genelecs are REALLY good. They dont sound impressive at first but then you realise its just lack of distortion and other artifacts that often make a speaker sound more exciting and euphonic. Just very, very neutral-sounding (i especially liked the big 8361a's). The sound might take a bit of time to get used to if youre going from more coloured speakers to those ones as they kinda sound underwhelming at first :D

@@Vwrrwvu Neumann are one of the most flattest frequency response monitors on the market. Very similar to Genelec. In a treated room full of bass traps, with sonarworks, the difference between Neumann KH310s and Genelec 8341A are indistinguishable. Out of the box, yes the KH310s are a little darker depending on the room, but once you spend a month or 2 months calibrating your monitors and treating your room, then as my monitors (KH310 and 8341) are almost the exact same. The KH310s just look a little sexier ;)

There is no question between these two Tannoy's - depending on the music. On genre's that don't challenge the bass or treble, they are close to undistinguishable (over youtube compressed audio). I want to like the Tannoy speakers, but I might favor other speakers in the same class like the KRK Rokit or Presonus or ???

on some tracks they sounded very similar but on some tracks 7 has more headroom and 5 sounds bit muffled and boxy....

The 5's sound much narrower than the 7s and that is a major thing - the 7s stereo image is much closer to the source than the 5s.

The 7 looks brighter and less natural. That can be because of the rise in the 3500khz and the 6500khz. In many places they say that model 7 is preferable because it has better dispersion. It's not clear to me. I think that model 5 is more interesting for price and because with a subwoofer solutions the lack of lower fall. Anyone who has heard them in person?

@@Zhvavyi A80 not so good w/o sub. If you go buy A80, reccomend T5 sub.. But I read that and s3000pro not good in reviews of dissatisfied buyers (supposedly it overpriced multimedia AC for bass lovers). But I wanna try s3000pro one day, in professional rewievs it is good AC.

​@@Zhvavyi Почему-то удаляется мой развернутый коммент автоматом. Эдики обещают, что их технология беспровода не забъется блютузом или вай-фай, другие частоты используют. И всё же многие простые пользователи S3000 их ругают за недостаточное качество звука и плоскость звучания, попробуйте погуглить или на сайте ДНС посмотреть отзывы. Вообщем, я хоть и хочу однажды узнать, что представляют S3000, но если денег нет лишний раз проверять, я бы взял себе R2850DB.
