A great shame you didn't have the propagation but glad you showed the video. Too many channels only show their success and make it look so easy. Thanks for the video and for keeping it real.

Well done. I hope you had a nice trip despite radiowave conditions (however it soundedto be fairly busy anyway). Thanks for sharing.

Great video of your aventure up the mountain, good weather, but shame the 10 meters was not hopping with distance signals.

Friday had an opening for me. Argentina with 10w sideband on 10m. Total luck but stoked just the same. I’m in BC Canada

One symptom was that north south propagation which normally is spotty seemed to be there during the day. It was a during the PY contest that week.

Ooo, did I spot a white A.T blaze? Now you have me thinking about dusting off my old packs ( hiked the A.T. in the 90's ) and loading up my QRP station. Take care and 73 de WA4JAT😀

Great setup Mike! Thanks for bringing us along. I assume that this was either filmed before last Saturday or you didn't get the 30" of snow we got here in Western Maine. 73.

@@marknesselhaus4376 What did you do with the time you saved not typing ppalachian rail? What was the point of mentioning the Appalachian Trail, he was not on it?
@marknesselhaus43765 ай бұрын
@@K1OIK I first mentioned it because in his video he showed a trail blaze that looked like the white blazes used to mark the A.T. And by the way, to hikers "A.T. " is the accepted short form.
@K1OIK5 ай бұрын
@@marknesselhaus4376 Blazes are used on thousands of trails. This is not a hiker video and using the short form is a way for you to brag by looking hip and cool.

Film? You have film in the camera? Why did you bring a spare sideband? Why go to a mountain, the ocean would be better?
