Im an American and was staying the weekend with my grandparents when she died. I really didn't know who she was but my grandma said that she had 2 young boys my age and was instantly heartbroken. I was very close to my mother and couldn't begin to comprehend what her sons were going through. I remember the funeral and her sons walking behind the casket and thinking how I would be a crying wreck. And how strong they must be really, they had to be 💞

Of course she gave an outdoor concert for the Earl Spencer Trust at Althorp in 1997? It was not too long before Diana died. A fascinating concert. She was not really on form but she was who she is.
