I kinda hoped Polarity, as a DnB guy, would explore those happy accidents a bit more

You can also just use a note filter to get rid of the midi in your processing chain! Saved me a lot of time!

I just put a default Note Receiver because it's already set to stop incoming notes.

Damn, I think the resonator bank sounded the coolest by far.

Pitchmap is very nice, the only issue is that it costs exactly as much as BW Studio..

I got my copy for $120 (67% off) because I bought secondhand off of Knobcloud :)

And uses about the same amount of CPU cycles

2:36 using channel filter with all channels disabled might more a more economical way to block the notes where you don't need them.

Love the part where you use the DSEQ3 delta to isolate the harmonics, sounds really cool! Another thing to try is using a harmonic split before the pitchmap & setting the max harmonics to a low value & playing with the nonharmonic level - the split creates cool harmonic fluttering which sounds great when pitchmapped.

A very good idea for pitchmap with a reasonably simple grid. I might get some better results with that plugin in future. I used it with the little crave synth before, that was ok I did use the sound. Not as nice as you have done here. The plugin wasn't cheap. Nice !

I love doing this, although I use MSpectralDynamics to flatten out all the problematic resonances or isolate them, or do spectral gating. I love doing this with comb filter patches as they routinely acquire huge spectral peaks along the way as they're made, and I'm just starting to get more into FM which can introduce some of the same sounds + side effects. I'm sure DSEQ/Soothe/etc all get use in this way for getting some more control in these harmonics patches, although I've never used Pitchmap before. I'm also just starting to get more into Bitwig and the Grid finally! Thanks for continuing to produce this great content.

Couldn't you use Loudness Split to do basically the same harmonic-isolating trick, without having to buy DSEQ?
