@@nadeemafzal8984 that's what I said in my comment, she was raised in that way. Education takes a back seat when it comes to a person's life, it's the upbringing by parents which dominates. She was bought up to be under control, be dominated hence even after knowing what should be done according to law, her default/programmed brain must have made her be suppressed. It's in what you believe, she believed that being in control of a husband is the ethical thing to do or good girls do so, so she dint take logical steps, dint think intuitively, dint make use of courage which she had in her, wasnt clear of her boundaries. Otherwise how did she know her husband was poisoning her? She knew but she suppressed her needs so much that it lead to her death, her parents are to be blamed fully

No dear it's not completely true. In India also, Hindu family also do this kind of marriages. E.g. is my first cousin( sister) ,my badepapa is no more due to which only badi mummy who is now the head of the family fixed my cousin's alliance with a divorced man ignoring all his shortcomings and faults,even without proper background checking despite my father's objection.Shadi hui but guess what??? Cousin couldn't even stayed happily even for a year and she left her sasural due to their shitty behaviour. Now she lives her like as a half divorcee in mayka.
