@@franqueee He tried many times to be the main IGL but the team always seemed to fail.. So he was pretty much the support IGL.. if he had a read on the enemy team that could be good he would hop in and take over sometimes..

What's the point? He had 41 HP left, close range phantom or vandal HS would anyway kill him even if he had full heavy shield. Mid range phantom HS would leave him with 10 HP and 10 is equivalent to 1 (in this case) if you don't have any healers in your team. So why waste cred?

@@souradeepbhowmick tbf it wouldn’t have been a horrible idea to buy, he wouldn’t be wasting any creds cause he would still get max money the next round anyway, and the other team is on an eco/light buy that round cause of their money, so might have a deagle or two which do 145 at long range. pretty much no reason not to buy when you’re already at 8400 creds tho, 7400 will still hit 9000 the next round win or loss

If you watch that pre-round, he was pretty much calling strats the whole time, which takes a lot of attention. Buying the shield makes sense here, but only because they have max money. Without max money, $1k for 9 health isn't worth it. It's an easy situation to miss, and with the amount of IGLing he was doing, probably just missed it in the moment. Or heck, maybe didn't even realize he had taken the 9 damage because it was so little.

@@_sjoe i am definitely not blaming him or saying it was a misplay not to buy, i have igl experience on immortal teams so i get the pressure and mental focus it takes (to a certain extent). i’m just saying that there really isn’t a reason buying shield for 9hp would be a waste of money because he will be max next round regardless. i 100% agree it’s not worth to buy in other situations where he doesn’t have max creds, but in this specific situation there’s no argument that can be made against it

if you are imm1 , you actually can kill anyone as a radiant when against iron or bronze players. But when your opponents are imm1 as well you can find yourself stressed and make a lot of mistakes but radiant still can get a 300+ acs with a single hand.
