I remember my first TNO Russia game. I picked the Siberian anarchists, I successfully united central Siberia, with great joy i saw Sabline unite eastern Siberia, I thought “perhaps we can unite peacefully, for the good of Russia” but then, things changed the authsoc slice of the political pie just kept getting bigger, and then, da Lin’s revolution changed, I don’t even remember if Sabline was still in charge anymore, with tears in my eyes, I gave the order to march east.

Ironically enough, from all the Russian warlord states, all the crazy ideology aside, Omsk might really be the one to hold on to the idea of "last hope", as they build their bunker system to protect from nuclear attack. In that world, the Great Trial might very well does await, no matter if it is in the way Comrade Karbyshev imagined it, or otherwise. If thermonuclear war does come... Yeah. Better build those bunkers.
